I am excited for the new album to come out. I mean Axl is making it perfect and as hard as he has been working on it you know that it is going to be great. Axl likes loyalty and fans like me who are completely loyal to him are going to be laughing at everyone who dogs him when the album comes out and blows their minds. (but it's okay we'll still be friends-lol)

I was thinking the same thing. Strange how he posted that in this thread. Maybe the end is near??

If this album never came out, I'd feel used.

I'm very frustrated. Actually I wanted to get off post number 666. I'm a bit superstitious. But I'm still frustrated.

The thing to keep in mind is, it's only an album, not a cure for cancer.

If you think back to December 2002 - Did you ever anticipate that it would be December 2005 and still nothing? Only two angry press releases. Fast forward to December 2006. . . if we still have nothing . . . will you finally give up?
If we don't hear anything by 1Q 2006, then I will stop hoping . . . and lose all respect for Axl . . . what a coward . . . stay in your mansion you wimp.

There is no such thing as perfection. I think Axl is just lazy. At some point frustration turns into indifference. And then you don't give a fuck.

Yesterday Id like to have sung to Axl Rose this: "So this is Christmas, and what have you done? Another year, over and a new one just begun. A very merry Xmas, lest hope its a good one -- to release CD -- " John Lennon - Happy Xmas

I agree. The Times article also pointed this out. He goes long periods of time without even thinking about the album. Pretty sad situation. Anyone who thinks Axl has been working nonstop on an album since 97-98 is even crazier than he is. I think we would all be shocked to find out how little progress has been made since the 2002 derailment.

You remember the RS2000 interview? At that point in time.. Axl was really ONLY working on the album... those were good times.. we knew his heart was in it. But now....? Maybe hes just given up..
