December 6th 2002- Philly

what did you think then.. on Dec 7th... 8th...?
did you even think you'd ever hear about the album again?
we knew NOTHING
we heard the band was broken up
we heard that Axl had 'lost it' and didn't know if he was okay or anything
we thought that was it - it just may be IT... over
tour cancelled
done

if you can recall that time - if you experienced it (which I did personally having flown out for MSG and Philly)...
you've got realize that we have come a long way

in 2003 many many fans said if it doesn't happen - its over
and again in 2004 we heard this again "if it doesn't come out this year - forget it"

how'd we feel after we heard Buckethead quit?
and RIR4 cancelled....
we were NOT happy and had good reasons to wonder how they could... if they would recover
i remember again a lot of fans thinking - that's it - its over, again

but here it is - 2005
and it ain't over

just sometimes.. to quell your frustration... just consider how bleek things have looked in the past...
how just awry things have went at times...? ?quite a few times... and they have not given up...
its really all the more reason to believe that they believe in what they're doing and they have no intention of giving up...
no matter what is thrown their way....
when you do this you got to realize how bright the future is?

since december 6th .... what good things did GNR brought to you ?
i was at MSG02 ...and since then ... nothing.
the ONLY news we had were bad news.

I`m just thinking why Geffen can`t push Axl to release Chinese Democracy? And this 13 milion for one record? Maybe Axl don`t give a shit about them. If they don`t agree with forever canceled release dates why they support him? I think Geffen knows whats comming up with this album and thats why they are so patience with Axl. Maybe Chinese Democracy will be more and bigger than ever someone can immagine ?? Do you know where you are?

Well.. I think that Chinese Democracy means alot for Geffen also. And there have been lots of dealings to make it best for bouth parts... And keep in mind how seacret everything about it is. It really is abit weird... But we just gotta wait and see.

in the days and even weeks following Philly 12/6 we thought it was ALL over
we have since learned that was not/is not the case
the band did not break up and plans for the album were not scrapped

for those tired/frustrated of hearing "its coming out" whether it be 'soon' or not...
would they prefer to hear that it is NOT coming out?

well.ok. but if i follow your point, the fact that nothing severe, or no major bad news, makes it all ok.
i'm saying, although they didnt break up, or no suicide, or no plane crash.... they still didnt do anything "positive".

no news at all don't certainly mean that something is going wrong.

they just didnt do anything. since then. they didnt break up, but they didnt speak to us either (in a serious way).
and, thats what a band is supposed to do. it's like an understood agreement between the audience and the artist.

but it's fine, i'm not one of these crazy fans. i like to wait for this cd, i think its funny. but life's great

Guns N' Roses is not signed with geffen anymore they are with Interscope records now

I would like to vent a few frustrations,first of all,if "CD" was ever gonna be released,I think it would be out by now,which really pisses me off! Also another thing,Guns 'n Roses?on the cover?Why?I think this is an Axl Rose album.He don't have to use the name to sell any CDs,I'm sure he would do well without the name,come on guys,let's face it,it can't be Guns N' Roses with only Axl left,maybe if he patched things up with Adler,Stradlin,and maybe even got Tracii Guns aboard then hell yea! Put GUNS N' ROSES on the cover 14 TIMES!
