By the way I forgot to mention I'm with you Popcorn....

But I was thinking about this, we should ahve a Guns N Roses Convention in L.A., I mean Stevie Nicks has a friggin' convention why not guns? It could be an all day type thing, and we would get Gunners from all over the states, adn Canada. Then at night those whou wanted could bus, or wlak up to Latigo Canyon road, and we could have an all night candle vigil at the front gates until Axl comes out and tlaks to us!

And for those who didn't want to we could book the best GnR cover band in the states and they could play at the convention center.. That way everyone has something to do. I think this is a great idea, anyone else??

Don't worry people, I'm not a wierdo or anything. Not like that at all.

I guess I'm more mystified at how someone, in this day & age, cannot be held responsible for their actions. I think we as the last remaing GnR fans could somehow "force" the action to get a response.

Maybe getting a petition & putting it in the LA Times or something would be more appropriate than camping out at Axl's gate. This attitude of it'll come out when it comes out is bullshit, the man needs to make a statement about his recent past failed public appearences & the record /tours he's promised to crowds of people.

I guess I don't see why it would be so wierd if someone representing HTGTH tried to establish contact with Axl in order to conduct an interview? He has fans, some people actually still care about what he does. Why not just organize ourselves & try, it's better than just sitting here talking about old shit all the time. Who knows, maybe Axl would think it was cool?

I am a total Axl supporter.  I love the new band and their material.  I think Axl's voice, although differant, is amazing.  The new band live, is excellent.  Probably the best show out there at this time.
I look forward to everything this band will do in the future.

Now, I know Axl has a master plan.  I know Axl is doing things the way he has, because he has had to do them that way.  It's his life.  He knows best.

However, when I think of the whole Axl/GNR situation, I must think of all the wasted talent + contributions that we could have seen.  What do you think would have happened if the old band stayed together?  Or, what do you think if Axl had immediately got to work and released an album quickly after old GNR ended?  Any other scenarios you can think of, talk about.  What could have happened?

what would have happened is prob why they arent together anymore...im sure the material would have been great....but the thing is it prob would have been the same... and axl didnt want that....its a matter of taste if ur satisfied with great material but its all the same thats great or if u want them to be great and keep pushing the envelope....we will see if it was worth it

Axl it doesn't have to be like it was before. You can still be huge if you come back. S America is nuts for you, Europe is too. You don't have to sell out arenas man. You can sell out 2500 seaters all day long. Fuck the "writers", jackoff critics and anybody else. Come back and kick ass...we're all waitin'. beer
