Hi All,

Anyone think GnR will headline Reading next year. I heard rumours of Rage Against The Machine for the Sunday but thought that maybe Axl will be heading to good ole blighty, especially if CD is to be released would be good promo, in uk generally one of the headliners from Download will play Reading or vice versa.

What do you think the chances are of a general tour to UK saw them at Hammersmith and want to see the boys again and soon.

Cheers,
Alex

I honestly think the chances of a UK tour, or any live appearances for that matter, are just as good as a tour in any other part of the world.

I dont think we'll see any live dates until the album if finished, and some kind of a release time table is set.

I think since we last heard from the lads, that this is the calm before the storm that will be CD and Guns N Roses. I feel something big is being put in motion.

as I'm predicting,

This is the big silence before the storm know why.

Axl knows whats up, he's been with this pain for the last 1 year and a half. they are doing everything they can now to get the B*tch out.
why not anouce a tour sooner. well then they tour, all there equipment are over seas and stuff like that. they can't deal the legal stuff out on the road. they can't face a lot of sh*t they can now.

I'm now waiting for that one press thing to come out of hiding.  it's a silence so big something must be up behind the curtains.

I've see pretty much every big band about in the world today except U2.
From the Chillis, REM, Oasis, VR, and none have come as close to watching GN'R live.
In fact the closest I've got to their stage presence was a Queen tribute act - http://www.onenightofqueen.com/
I'd love to see them again over here but on the other hand I hate festivals!
Hoping that if they do grace us with their rock and roll again that they can do a one-off warm up like Docklands in '02! peace

Reading is awesome. I saw The Distillers play there. Wow, the fearless leader of the Pigeons of Shit Metal is a lucky guy.

I hope they don't play Glastonbury. The problem with Glastonbury is you get all the hippy's there that just want to go to dance round trees and wear flowers. Guns would be wasted there as they wouldn't be appreciated. People don't go to that festival to see bands they care about - they just go to experience it all and see some music in general - which is highlighted by the fact that it sells out each year before the line-up is even announced!

Anyway - knowing Glastonbury GnR would likely come third or fourth on the bill behind Kylie, Cliff Richard and Jools Holland's band.

Guns for Leeds / Reading and/od Download. With Rage playing the same festival. That's what I holding out for.

Having said that I don't think they'll play the UK to be honest - they just did a full UK tour a little over 12 months ago - which is a shame.

I wonder if the plan is to sit tight until the label decides what they're going to do with the album?
