Is there anybody in my neck of the woods (Washington DC) who knows a good bar where a lot of GNR fans hang out?  And if not, could we pick one to start going to?  I play drums, im totally down to get a cover band together to really claim some shit-hole.   beer

This is bullshit, i'm stuck w/ crap bars and worse radio stations.

Anybody know of any bars or clubs in the Orlando, Florida area where G N' R fans would hang out?

You should start a new band instead.

i think its a cool thread to be honest.  NONE of my friends have the same taste in music as me and it would be very cool to meet people who did - especially when good bands come into town.  i hate not going to shows b/c I can't find anyone to go with me.

I have plenty of friends, but I have more interests than friends at the moment.

Oh I agree, I met a ton of cool people due to this board last year before the MSG show and a bunch in Vegas and it was great to be around so many people you have common ground with.  I think the most fun was meeting the overseas folks who came to NYC though!

None of my friends are GNR addicts like I am.  I guess that's why I'm here! peace

Actually it would be cool to have GNR fans have a bar in every city where you could see a decent cover band and go whenever you want. Yes. That would be sweet. Unfortunately, I don't believe there are enough of us in any one city to make this happen, but maybe NY?

maybe not enough fans from this board -- but i'm sure there are enough GNR fans across the nation where you could prob do something in major metropolitan areas..

Absolutely, Axl has followers EVERYWHERE.  but like that guy said above, none of my freinds love GnR like i do.  And i'll tell you what's embarressing (besides spelling that word wrong) is when they came to baltimore i bought 4 tickets and couldn't find three people to go w/ me. I had to scalp one.  What kind of people am i associating myself w/??  Jeez.

Not alot of people I know like Guns N' roses much either. My ex's aunt did, so we got along pretty darn well, but everyone else always thought they were annoying or "too loud..."
