If the guy is out there having fun, and promoting GnR, why would anybody give a rat's ass?

I think it's just become funny how much of a leech Baz has become.  The only time this guy gets any publicity is when he's mentioning Axl's name.  I think it's become annoying.

It's like Baz said this (about Axl) and Baz said that (about Axl) Baz has a new album on it (with Axl!!!).

I mean I don't know whether to feel good for the guy for having the success he's had lately after so many years without it or feel bad for him because without Axl he still wouldn't have any of it.  And truthfully I find it kind of annoying.

then dont read the interviews? that SO hard?

What's he suppose to do go around doing interview's not mentioning Axl who is a guest on three tracks ?  Axl hasn't been heard on a track since End Of Day's and people are saying all he does is use Axl for promotion.  Well A. it is good promotion get people to buy your CD B. Axl and him are friends and C. Im sure if Axl had a problem with what Baz was saying he would ask him to stop.

For all those complaining about Bach talking about Axl too much, did you ever consider it may also be a good thing for Axl and he may actually approve of it.  Every time Baz brings up Axl, it gets his name back out into the public forum.  Let's face it, they could both use a lot of help right now.  Obviously Baz is using Axl to help promote his album, but I don't see how that hurts anybody in this scenario.  Maybe I'm missing something.

I don't read the interviews.  I don't need Baz to tell me how great Axl is or how good Axl can sing.  I already know that.  If he's giving new information about the Chinese Democracy, then I'll read it, but other than that what's the point?  I just find it annoying/funny that Baz never gets any publicity without mentioning Axl and I find it even more funny that 1/3ed of the topics on the main page of this board are about Baz talking about Axl.

The problem I have is you never see anything about Baz anymore WITHOUT Axl being the main focus.  The headline is always "Baz says Axl is great!".  "Baz says he saw Axl eating Easy Mac last year!".  "Baz has homosexual dream about Axl!".  I just said it was annoying that you never see Baz talking about his new album as the headline, Axl is always the main focus.  He might as well just release the 3 fucking songs Axl is on!  It doesn't seem as if anyone even cares about the other 9 on the album.

I never said it wasn't good for Axl.  I said it was sad for Baz.

the reality is Baz has been out of the spotlight since 1991 and the only way he can get in the spotlight besides doing lame reality shows is to use Axl's name

Im not denying axls impact on Baz's refound fame, but how about the fact that he has released a great rock record.  My local music store had it on the shelf today (i know its a few days early) and it is an amazing record.

I think that goes 2 ways....the last time Axl was in the spotlight (to the general public) was circa 1999 in the "End of Days"soundtrack.  Neither have been around (to most people) in a long time.

Slash actually gave a great interview on Stern and didnt have anything bad to say about Axl....in fact it sounded like he was trying to clear the air once and for all

Oh please. It's interesting how certain former members are always trying to "clear the air" and "putting it behind them" when all of their statements contain veiled shots of desperation at Axl or current members of Guns N' Roses.

-Mr. Bucketfoot

Well, that's not true in this instance so whatever your views are on that, you're wrong in this case.  So why argue it?  When you obviously don't know.  Slash's book even says he doesn't forsee any reunions, and he says plenty of good about Axl.  Sure, he says the bad too ... but let me make one thing clear... when Slash has something to say about Axl's shortcomings, he's very blunt.  No veiled comments needed.

LOL.  Absolutely true and what I was talking about before.

That said ... I guess at the end of the day, whatever way Baz can sell himself, he will do ... he needs to sell records.

Why would he want to be on a show that he (or you) have to beg for him to be on?? Its desperate, pathetic, insincere, and ungenuine.
