Perhaps it could become the "Moan about Slash thread". It could be prefaced with "Here's another topic that pops up all the time. This is the only thread about how horrid Slash is", the template which appears in the GNR section in a few threads. Then the usual negative Nancy posters could hang around here and piss and moan about how shite VR's music is, how lame Scott is and how everything Slash says is a stinking lie. It would cut out about 80% of all traffic on other VR threads, but that can only be a good thing.

Not crying.? He is one of the main reasons GNR was so successful.? But at the same time he is in a band that he hardly promotes and it all comes back to GN'R. He usually insinuates all the GNR talk too and at the same time says he moved on yada yada yada ... but every interview is always GN'R not VR.

Here's the problem:  we all assume that shows like Conan and Letterman are begging Slash to come on.  He has a publicist set these interviews up for him.  If the interviewers were told not to ask about Axl the reply would probably be "Thanks but no thanks."  He has to talk about Axl to promote the book and he knows it.  I'm not necessarily defending it, just trying to explain why it's happened.
