i would like to thank who ever buried this thread here. this is down the street from my apartment and i didnt go because the thread was buried....cowards....

Attention: SLASH is in VELVET REVOLVER.

If you can't UNDERSTAND that you'll have to look in the VELVET REVOLVER section for SLASH news, then that's really sad.

I don't think anybody cares what street you live on and decides where to post shit based on that.

/jarmo

you buried it in this section you coward...and thanks for letting me know what band he is in. thing is, this wasnt a VR thing...it should have been in the thread in the ex- section, not buried in the VR section, you coward...

What is cowardly about putting news about a member of a band in that band's section?

Slash is in Velvet Revolver, hence news pertaining to him is in the VR section.  Steven Adler and Izzy are ex-members not in VR, so their news is in the ex-members section.

Why you don't quit bitching and take responsibility for your own mistake or oversight?

Ali

hey ass-licker, it wasnt in the main ex-gnr section...it was buried in the vr section....this is about slash, not vr...get your head out of jarmo's bung-hole or keep it there since you seem to like it so much.

its the truth....it was buried....hidden, and others have said this also...so, as i said, get your head out of his ass....

Another negative karma.

No need to apologize.

His behaviour can't be justified.

He attacked Jarmo in 2 different threads for no reason, and that is something I won't accept anymore.

I'm not an ass kisser or anything like that, but our rules apply to every single poster on the board.

Our rules don't say "It's not cool to insult other members of this board, except from Jarmo, he can take it".

They apply to everyone.

But some people, especially this past year, have been taking advantage of Jarmo's patience...

Well, I'm not THAT patient. This bullshit has to stop at some point.

He wouldn't have any problems here as well, if he had checked the right section.

It's not like we deleted the post...

However, I must remind you, in case you haven't noticed, that he's the one who started the trouble.

The fact that you have a different opinion from Jarmo or me or anyone else, doesn't mean that you have the right to start calling us names... Same goes for us.

I know that Christos. He was acting very childish offending everyone for something no one was to blame for. But you must admit that these days, this section of the board ain?t the most suitable place to find Velvet Revolver or Slash information anymore. That?s why I advised him to instead go to a VR forum to find it as I think it would be the smartest thing to do.

Good suggestion.  If you want to easily and clearly find VR related news, go to the VR fan forum.

Hey, man. don't speak for someone else or put words in his mouth. he's an adult, he's capable of speaking for himself. i appreciated what he had to say and i know him. so, i say , thanks for the words...so you can talk for yourself and let others speak and stand up for themselves...very simple concept....

here's  how it went, It started 7pm, i got there 5:30, already atleast 100 people on line, you had to buy the book first, then they give you a wrist band, then you get on line, by 7:00 there were atleast 500 people online many dressed as slash and 2 axls,

at 7 the line started moving you go in the store where there was tons of security, before you get to the room with slash, you had to hand over everything you had like cameras and bags etc. to security then yyou bring your book to slash he signs it quickly smiles, and its over, then the security gives you back your camera and stuff and you have to leave.

by 8pm he was done signing everyone, a few people waites outside for him afterward there were 2 people with records and 2 people with guitars to sign and a few others like myself who just wanted a picture.

when he was ready to leave a line of security guards blocked to fans on both sides to escort Slash across the sidewalk into his car, he didnt sign anything and he went straight into the car. and the night was over i'll post a couple of pics soon

In case you can't read, I am speaking for myself.

He did nothing wrong. He posted the message where it should have been posted, according to the rules, so there's no need to apologize to someone who attacked others for no reason.

And I'm saying that as a moderator of this board I won't accept this kind of bullshit anymore.

I hope you got the message.

You had to get a wristband and they started giving wristbands out at 10am.

I was daydreaming all day that day at work about meeting Slash and posing with him for a picture...and how it would be my Christmas card this year...it was gonna read, "Slash and I wish you a rockin' Christmas!"

I got in line about 5pm and signing was at 7pm. There were signs up all over Barnes and Noble with all these rules:

No Personalized books
2 book min. to be signed
No signing of memorabilia
No pictures with Slash

So, we get up there, and they took our camera approx. 20ft. away from him!  It was so lame! B & N said Slash didn't want any flashes on him!
When I finally met him, I first  told him how hard he rocks, then proceeded to tell him how "un-metal" all the rules were! He just smiled and giggled.

He was definitely friendly (and shy) the 2 seconds he gave you, but it was herd 'em in and herd 'em out kind of thing. It was so disappointing!

Like IFINGLUVR said, probably like 200-300 people.  So we saw his limo when we came out so about 5 of us decided to wait outside...including the kid that idolized Slash and wanted him to sign his guitar case...and when he came out we over heard him say "I'm done signing." And his security guards pushed us away and he cruised right into his car!  He couldn't even stop for 1 sec. so we could get a pic of him!

I get that he's a huge rockstar...but it's not f-ing 1992 dude!  I guess the most disappointing part is that he so didn't care!

I will always be a Slash fan, but I will never forget that experience and how he treated his fans.  I'm not breaking up, but I won't ever feel the same about him.
