One question about the book though. Adriana Dunken(sp) and Adriana Smith, they are both said in the book to be the girl in Rocket Queen. So it is the same person with a married and maiden surname or is it a mistake ?? ?
it's the same person, she changed her last name.

Now i'm really pissed off, i've pre-ordered this book August 1st, I got the shipping confirmation mail since 18 f*****' days and I still don't have my copy! rant Angry
I live in France, some dude ordered their book late september (2 month after me!!!!!) and already got them, it's a crying shame!! rant crying
I think i've been really patient from that point but it became a bad joke for me now and will spoil for sure this awesome book... no

Got my copy today aswell Smiley It is a fantastic book.

For those that have not ordered it yet definitely get it. It is well worth it.

Now I gotta check out the extras on the website.

I got my shipping confirmation on Oct 9th. I live in Calgary, Canada. It was going regular mail. Still no have Cry Doesn't this seem like a long time to get to Canada???

I live in France and still don't have it. I got my shipping confirmation on oct 9th too, somme guys ordered their copy on oct 21th (French too) and already got them... it's a shame! Cry no

When's there gonna be more footage put up?  I was hoping for like, whole concerts from the early days, not a few interviews with the guys from today on various subjects.  I wanna see Nightrain when it was first played!

I'm on page 250 now. I gotta say this is one hell of a book.
Really nice pictures and fun reading. Marc Canter has done a great job here. Probably the best Gnr book I've seen actually....

I'm seriously hoping we'll see more audio and video in the future of these old shows.
Can they be realeased without having to deal with legal issues etc? Dvd, cd? Anyone know?

But hey, Marc, if you read this,and there cant or wont be released anything officially- dont be afraid to pm me for some quality trades  Grin

The extras are awesome but a HUGE tease.  Nothing like hearing the first 45 seconds of Paradise City the first time they played it live and then having it fade out... 20 second snippets of LA Guns with Axl... it is all a huge tease.  Don't get me wrong... I LOVE the book... finished it in 3 days but the extras leave me wanting A LOT more.  When is Marc Canter going to come on here and let us all download what he has?  lol

I ordered the books about 2 weeks ago and just recieved a shipping notice that the book was sent out today! Should be great!!! Hopefully it gets here soon!

wow i pre-ordered in august and havent got shit. i think im just gonna cancel my order sometime this week. would of been great to have all covers but if the fastest way to get this book is buy ordering just 1 book then i guess ill have to do that.
