Last Saturday at the Marlins/Phillies game Matt Treanor had "My Michelle" played everytime he came up to bat.  Must be his entrance music this year.  Don't remember if he had it last year.  Still cool to hear it blasting through stadium speakers.

I saw this live show on tv, where anything could happen. Then they got out on the streets and found a gn'r fan and a
Nik and Jay fan (shitty danish pop group). Then you could vote wether you wanted to hear gn'r or Nik and Jay, the funny thing about was that the band that should play the song, was an old country western street band.
Of course gn'r won and then they played the paradise city chorus very fast over and over again. Hilarious. Cool

During a trailer for the film "A Knight's Tale" on Channel 4 here in the UK a couple of months ago they used Coma as the soundtrack. GNR on a film trailer is nothing new but Coma certainly is unusual.

Rose described it as ?an honour and a privilege? to be returning to the UK, as the country had ?always been special? to Guns N? Roses.

OK lets see... *looks at front cover of random newspaper on table* "Poison: Yard to arrest KGB men" ... hmmm... Poison are a band, Slash auditioned to be in Poison, he then declined and ended up in Guns N' Roses!

By golly you're right!!!

You don't have to look that hard and make the link yourself, there's usually always something more obvious than that, be it a headline pun for example!

I've heard 14 Years at the place that I play football. I mean there is some kind of pub besides the pitch. There!

I heard "Better" today when I watched a random video (on the net, of course) featuring a transformation from chubby to fit... hihi

Trust me when I say that it was unexpected.

Not even a little bit. It happens at tons of sports events.

And it's been discussed to death already.

ibelieveinaxl, I'm just as crazy/paranoid.  NBC's Sunday Night Football played SCOM's intro. as they went to a commercial.

Now, the reason that pricked my ears up is that I think NBC is owned by Universal or vice versa, I'm not sure.  Universal is the entity that has invested quite a few bucks in GNR if I'm not mistaken.  Even if it meant nothing, which I'm sure it did, it was still cool to hear.   Cool

They always play Jungle during NASCAR when going on break.  (ABC)

It isn't a sign, but it's always fun to hear GN'R on TV.

Chinese Democracy starts with Jungle on NASCAR and Paradise City on MLB broadcasts!   We can only dream.
