Let me twist it for ya. What if he did, and it killed hip-hop and rap? Wouldn't that be awesome?.

A collaboration would be cool depending on it's presentation The VMA thing when Foo Fighters played "Darling Nikki" W/ Cee-Lo was great.. http://youtube.com/watch?v=JAK7440Lt-8

I'm for a GNR-Rap collaboration that has been a long time in the making in Axl's mind (since discussions with Ice T in 1990). Velvet Revolver did a Paradise City collab with Cypress Hills on the Jimmy Kimmel show and that is one of my favorite videos on You Tube because it sounds great and rhymic.
I don't think 50 Cent is a wise choice. Dr. Dre would be my pick.

I'm for a GNR-Rap collaboration that has been a long time in the making in Axl's mind (since discussions with Ice T in 1990). You could call that a long time in the making, or you could call it an idea that was mooted years ago and never developed. Musicians have ideas about projects that never get beyond the "this would be cool" phase - would Axl be any exception? I think not.

Cool idea, but NOT 50 Cent.
Jay-Z, Eminem, Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco, Common, or Mike Shinoda or someone like that would be pretty cool.

Me too. If it does I don't think I could cope with it I hate (c)rap music so bad, and especially punks like 50 Cent

I don't have a source, but I thought I read somewhere that Slash and/or Axl recorded some songs with Eazy E. I'd love to hear that.

I don't think it could work well. Cypress and Slash were awesome on Rock Superstar. And this was because of Slash. Paradise City sucked. Remember how bad Snoop Dogg made Metallica's Sad But True. It was horrible. That's my opinion of course...

seriously, not 50 cent he's almost as lame live as billy talent (wich is the worst live act i've ever seen ) every single fitty song ended with a sampled gun shot, and pretty much all they (he and another guy frmo G-unit) did was pumping their arm up and down and shit In a Pantera stlye move I would jump up on stage and blow 50 cent away.
not cool man.

Axl's already dipped his hand in rap rock. It's called Get In The Ring and it's embarrassing.
50 Cent is a far better suggestion than some that have been floating around in this thread. Kanye West? Andre 3000? 50's much more suited to the challenge.

i hope "fitty" cent dies before he ever has the chance to ruin music other than his own. he is a fucking clown and i cant even begin to understand why u guys would think axl would have anything to do with this assmunch I reckon we should all turn our prayers for a collaboration with , say, Slayer or anyone else who doesn't suck

I fail to see how "Get in the Ring" has anything to do with rap.....if your talking about Axl's "rant" ...that's FAR from rap....it's exactly what it sounds like...a rant...

GITR has nothing to do with Rap... My World has a bit of it and Tastes good was the only actual rapping Axl's done (that we oficially know of anyway!)
