I would say Better and The Blues maybe, have some potential to be a hit.

all of them.
all the new songs have the potential. although some seem to have more than the others as they are, it rests on the productions I think. for instance,  I don't remember cd was so popular as now when I joined here.

I'm going to go with "the Blues." I love all the new songs, but this is the most digestible. It has "top 40" written all over it. Could be a huge crossover hit. Can picture kids, soccer moms, and old-school fans really digging this.

I can definitely see dads and grandparents digging it.  yes

better has 'no1' written all over it.

i think There was a time is the best song.. but i think Better is the best choice for a single.  better has everything you need in a single.  Its catchy, it sounds different from anything i have ever heard.. yet it still sounds like classic GNR.  i think its the perfect song to introduce GnR fans to new GNR.

Not enough love for TWAT I see...

Cuz in my opnion TWAT is a 6-7 minute epic rock killer song that has "Music Video" written all over it. It could be the followup to the Trilogy from UYI. TWAT is the best song that we have heard from the new GNR. TWAT has Top 10 Billboard material written all over that.

Madagascar is the other one because you could also insert some powerful imagery in there as well.

It wouldn't hurt either if AXL finds a leading lady to be and play his love interests in his upcoming videos ala Erin Everly (SCOM, It's So Easy) and Stephanie Seymour (Don't Cry, November Rain) and the hottie from Since I Don't Have You.

If Better could come out the way it has sounded live, it should earn consideration as well. But the demo's so far fall flat on my ears compared to killer live versions.

I think the 2 songs that have an incredible potential to be huge hits are 1) Chinese Democracy and 2) Better.

Chinese Democracy is a short song, full of adrenaline, extremely aggressive and it has no boring parts at all. It should be the first single IMO.

The best song of them all is TWAT by far, but I dont know what the overall reception of the masses can be. And I dont think it will be radio-friendly.

I like Better.  The others don't do it for me.  The Blues sounds like it could be good, but the only version I have heard is a low quality live version where Axl's voice isn't quite on.  The music was great though.  I won't go on about the songs I dislike...

The blues and maybe Better. Chinese Democracy would be cool as a single but I can't imagine radiostations etc playing that song because of the long intro, and the intro combined with the loud guitar in the beginning makes the song imo.

of the songs i've played for friends better is by far their favourite..

some people here are saying TWAT but if ya think about it. even if it's the best song and shit it's not "radio-friendly" just like estranged is many gnr fans favourite song but it didn't really "work" as a single

my favourite is CD of the new ones and if they'd cut the long intro for a radio edit it could be very kickass, but on the album i want the long intro there if it's the first song on the record because i remember how it felt when i heard finck's opening riffs for the first time.. darn damn i say

I think Better would be huge and everyone I've played it for loves it.  I wish it would hurry up and get out there officially.  However, I'm starting to question how well the others stand up to repeated listens.

I think they can take TWAT or any of them and make it radio friendly/pop as they want if they want.

yes underlying the song is abysmal energy that is repressed and dormant like magma deep under a volcano waiting for the time to erupt. wicked tensions.

I doubt it's meant to be a single.  wouldn't it better followed by a hell of songs (the eruptions)?

IRS can be a mega hit if released as a 3rd or 4th single.
