whatever the price tag says on the cd sleeve.
lately i'm not into buying records, specially cuz most of them suck (see my latest purchase... Libertad")
but i'd buy anything Gn'r puts out, specially the new line up. they're the best live band out there, i can't wait to see how a studio effort would be like.
it's about time Robin has something put out by a band, other than the live recordings with NIN.
and i can't wait to see the cd art and booklet. if there's a bonus dvd with footage of the band rehearsing or backstage or whatever. that would be even better.
the next cd i'm gonna buy will be Sebastian Bach's Cd, mostly because of Axl as well...
the thing is i've been waiting for this cd for so long, i remember when i was graduating from high school i thought it was coming out, that was in 2000-2002. Now i'm finishing my law degree and it's still in a hiatus situation... oh well, if i waited for so long, as long as i don't die, i'll still be here.

I have probably been a fan longer than you Jarmo
Oh really?
If you became a fan before AFD was released, I apologize. Otherwise, don't make assumptions.
Judging by your age, you were seven when it was released. Did you run out and buy it the day it was released?
Just because I'm not bitter, doesn't mean I'm not old enough to remember the 80s.
/jarmo
No, I did not buy it. ?My brother did and yes I was a fan at seven. ?You are right though. ?I am a little bitter with this band. ?I have supported old and new and there is nothing new, album wise, in the last 16 yrs. ?That's all I'm saying.

how bout everyone chips in x amount of dollars and then we get in contact with someone from the band and give them that money that was collected and in return we get to listen to CD. And if we do this quick enough 2007 can still be the yr! otherwise lets do it for 08. This would be unprecedented
everyone would be happy. The die hards would get to hear the album, and Axl can still hold onto the album.

^ It would leak and, if the album is not ready yet, I don't think the band would release it in any form, hence their response to the leaked demos.

Listening parties could be the way forward. A few drinks, play the tunes, solicit some feedback...I'd pay ?20-30 for that alone if they could make it exciting. Would also create a buzz.
When I have some time I'll work out what the average of all the prices quoted here has been!

I must say I'm impressed.
At seven I was more interested in cartoons, Lego and stuff like that.
I didn't really have a taste in music back then.....

As far as I know, those are held once there's a release date?
I've never been to one, but that's how I think they work......

right now I'd give my left nut! (bit smaller than the right one and is a pain in the ass
)
seriously, I'd pay over the odds for this CD.
I just hope one day I will walk into HMV and see it there.
In the meantime us die-hards need something to keep our whistles wet!

When I was seven, Legos were more exciting than listening to some of the music that was out at the time.

back on topic i wouldn't pay more than 20 euros for it. As much as i admire axl as a songwritter, singer and frontman and like what i've heard from this new band i wouldn't pay more than that.
10 years ago i would had pay much more i think
