Good for Axl!
I wish he would have done an all-Queen rock cover's album. He's kicked mad ass in the past with Queens covers like Tie Your Mother Down, We Will Rock You.

Now that Axl is in better spirits, he shouldn't be passing up these opportunities.

That would be Thomas Wink

Too bad Axl isn't recording a studio cover of Bohemian Rapsody drool That Wembley performance back in '92 ... His vocals were fucking great that day ! (Well, they are even better nowadays, with 100% of control on the rasp, the high pitch etc.)

Catcher In The Rye

« Reply #37 on: October 09, 2007, 04:35:36 PM »

its all down to gnr dailys webmaster, like I said. Whoever runs that site, saw this thread, thought they were being smart and had a good story, but failed to see it had no backing as of now ( a year later)

then blabber mouth saw gnr dailys story, thought gnr daily had credible sourcing, and posted it on their site.

Jarmo has certainly done a god job of preventing confusion such as this in the past, and some people have the nerve to have a go at him for deleting threads.

swing cats is a band from former Stray Cats members Lee Rocker, Slim Jim Phantom & former Polecat Danny B. Harvey.
they've done a LP in 1999, covers of Carl Perkins Hank Williams etc, featuring guests singers.

so it could be true.
