Well, it's season 3, episode 3 and Earl is in prison and he's trying to stop a gang fight.

During the fight someone gets stuck with a bucket on his head and the warden is giving Earl a hard time about it...

Warden: "Not to mention the guy with a bucket stuck on his head, they're not sure that thing is ever gonna come off Earl. "

Earl: "Yeah, they're already calling him Buckethead..."

The episode where another woman comes along and they have a fight in the road or something....

reading AG's post, I thought those who didn't know of the guitarist would not find it so funny as we do and the script writer might be the former. But damn I wasn't aware that buckethead is already a household name.

Well, I didn't know that Bumblefoot was that well known either...

But I did a little research and people who know about guitar think he is a guitar God (which I found out personally later).

There were a few people who went to the GN'R gig in Greece last year just for Bumble.

So, to me that means that just because we have no idea, it doesn't mean that these people don't have a big fanbase...

um  by a household name I meant a character known to everybody and not just to connoisseurs.

It's when Joy and (forgot her name, Earl's ex. She bought them Metallica tickets and he dumped her for Joy) fight because whatsername works at a Bounty Hunter place and Joy has a unpaid traffic ticket but the last time they fought she got her ass kicked so whatsername trains really hard.
