Duff is a very good friend of mine, we love each other, we went through so many thing together, he doesn't
drink alcohol anymore a shame,  Duffman is very cool .

its a shame Duff doesn't drink anymore?  Duff CAN'T drink anymore or he'll die.  Roll Eyes

Also, I thought Axl was back in the states by the time the Key Club happened.

Duff probably can drink now. His liver has probably repared itself, if it didnt he would have had a replacement long ago.

Duff can't drink, and his liver hasn't "repared" itself.

That's not even possible.

I know, but his liver was "most" likely damaged too.

That most certainly isn't even remotely possible.  His liver was likely damaged by all the excess drinking and if it were possible for the liver to repair itself, there would be no need for liver transplants.

NOT TRUE!!!? The liver is one of those organs that can "regenerate" itself (to a certain extent).

It takes many, many years but if any portion (size) of your liver is still attached inside you then YOUR LIVER DOES GROW BACK.

I know this for a FACT because my mom's did.? In 1968, my mom had 3/4 of her liver removed because she had tumors inside her liver.? Back then they either didn't or couldn't do a liver transplant on her.

Liver transplants, like everything else in life, are done on a case-by-case basis depending on each person's individual needs.

That's pretty much what I meant.

And I don't think that you can/will get a liver transplant just to get back to drinking...

To a certain extent, exactly like you said.

Obviously not enough to negate the effects of alcohol abuse or other damage to the liver or else there would be no need for liver transplants!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I used the word "repair" not "regenerate".  Tissue regeneration is not the same thing as the damage being undone.
