Launch Radio Networks reports: M?TLEY CR?E is getting ready to launch its Carnival of Sins 2006 tour with a New Year's Eve show on Saturday (December 31st) in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Bassist Nikki Sixx told Launch that a rowdy time is guaranteed for all, and that the CR?E plans to make its already wild show even crazier. "Yeah, we're adding pyro, and crazy. Yeah, if it was insane before, it's even more insane now," he said. "You can't do New Year's Eve without doing something crazier."
M?TLEY CR?E has 30 North American shows booked between now and early April.
The group plans to hit the studio on May 1 to start working on a new studio album with producer Bob Rock.
M?TLEY CR?E played to nearly a million fans in 2005, grossing $33 million in 81 shows.

M?TLEY CR?E's official web site has been updated with the following "review" of the group's New Year's Eve concert in Detroit, Michigan:
"M?TLEY CR?E's New Years Eve show in Detroit, MI was amazing! The night started off with a 45-minute sound check where the band quickly learned U2's 'New Year's Day'. After several run-throughs, the guys signed several guitars for the Chicago Cr?efest and then hung out in their dressing rooms for a bit before giving Josie (check your tour book if you don't know who she is) a new bass for her birthday. Then it was back to the dressing rooms to prepare for the show.
"The show started with 'Shout at the Devil' and ran through the same set list for most of the 2005 tour. Vince [Neil] gave Josie a nice little birthday spanking on stage before 'Red Hot' and Nikki [Sixx, bass] mentioned that the CR?E wanted to play in Detroit over L.A., Vegas, New York and of course Chicago! The show continued pretty much as normal until Tommy's [Lee] drum solo. Instead of being lifted to the drum kits above the stage, Tommy was escorted onto the main floor to an area just in front of the mixing tables where he was connected and lifted above the crowd to play his flying drum solo. Tommy was then led back to the stage for 'Same Ol' Situation' and the titty cam.
"The titty cam ran to just a few minutes before midnight and the guys started handing out champagne to people on the floor. Then in typical CR?E fashion, everyone in front of the stage was doused in sprayed champagne as thousands of balloons and streamers fell from the ceiling. The guys then played their version of 'New Year's Day' and 'Kickstart My Heart' before leaving the stage. After several minutes they returned with the final song of the night, 'Anarchy In The UK'.
"After 'Anarchy' Tommy and Vince gave out bottles of champagne while Nikki doused fans and hard working web guys with buckets of fake blood. Mick [Mars, guitar] however was pulled off stage by a fan and was rushed backstage for medical attention. We caught up with Mick about an hour after the show and he said that he was doing well. Motley.com has passed an email to Mick letting him know that many Shouters [registered members of the band's official message board] where very concerned and that they are happy to hear that he's doing well."

M?TLEY CR?E guitarist Mick Mars has issued a statement in response to fan concens about his well-being following reports that he was pulled off stage by a fan at the conclusion of the band's New Year's Eve concert in Detroit and had to rushed backstage for medical attention. His statement reads as follows:
"I'm fine, I am undamaged. I had a great time, and to the girl that pulled me in, I am not upset with her or mad. I hope she got my pick. See ya'll next time. Thanks for a very memorable New Year's evening.

What a year for the Crue. They started out the year not even a band, and ended it as one of the top rock bands going. Let's hope this goes on as long as possible.

M?TLEY CR?E will be teaming up with AEROSMITH for a co-headlining tour later in the year,
CR?E frontman Vince Neil revealed during an appearance on the "Opie and Anthony" show on XM Satellite Radio earlier today (Jan. 6). In addition, CR?E will be playing several European dates with THE ROLLING STONES over the summer.
M?TLEY CR?E will commence the songwriting/demoing process for their new studio album on May 1. Joining the group for the new album sessions will be producer Bob Rock, who previously worked with CR?E on their "Dr. Feelgood" and self-titled albums, as well as the three new tracks that appeared on CR?E's two-CD "greatest hits" collection, "Red, White & Cr?e", which came out in February 2005. An early 2007 release is expected, to be followed by extensive touring.
M?TLEY CR?E will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this coming January 25 in front of the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, California. The band were among a number of entertainers in motion pictures, television, radio, live theater, and recording that were selected in June 2005 to receive stars on the Walk of Fame by the Walk of Fame Committee of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. These individuals were chosen from among hundreds of nominations to the committee at a meeting held June 20, 2005 and ratified by the Chamber's Board of Directors.

Melissa Ruggieri of TimesDispatch.com recently spoke to M?TLEY CR?E members Nikki Sixx (bass) and Vince Neil (vocals) about the third leg of their eye-popping "Carnival of Sins" tour, which launches next month in Columbus, Ga.
Asked what they have say to the cynics who didn't believe the band could draw crowds after being inactive for so long, Sixx said, "You know, we're brothers and we sit around and talk and laugh how that all happened. But we don't sit around and go, 'Yeah, yeah, well, [blank] them. We got them.' We'd be focusing on the wrong thing. I think we're just happy. If people want to be in business with us, they do. If they want to bet against us, we always win.
"[The first leg] was more than we expected. We went out with the attitude that we want to go out as a band and make music and the turnout was beyond anything we expected. It was amazing," he continued. "We checked out what people were saying on the Internet before the tour, like, no one is gonna show up and they're gonna break up. Everyone was betting against us and we just put our heads down and said, 'Let's go.'"
CR?E's current tour firmly accentuates the hits. "Home Sweet Home", "Wild Side", "Looks That Kill", "Kickstart My Heart" ? all of them make appearances, along with the typical CR?E props of scantily clad women, motorcycles revving onstage and . . . dwarfs.
"There are a lot of people who haven't seen us on this tour, a lot of B markets and college towns," said Neil, "so it wouldn't be fair to the people who haven't seen us yet [if we scaled down the show]. There's always going to be tons of production."
Regarding the band's future plans, Sixx said, "Everybody has a personal journey. When I got sober, I saw things a lot clearer and could focus on music and my friendship with the band. It was more selfless and about being a team player."
Neil is equally optimistic.
"Everybody still loves being in this band, everybody is getting along," he said. "Me and Tommy [Lee, drums], we've been friends for 30 years and believe me, when you've been friends with somebody for 30 years, you're going to fight sometimes . . . Everybody has their own separate lives, but we all love each other."

it is a great song, but it sounds shit live, because Vince skips half the lyrics. "that's all right, that's okay", becomes "s'all right, s'okay"

Paul Stanley?? That would be interesting.? Aerosmith are shit live, so lets hope Motley gets to close the show, or at least have them alternate.? When Kiss and Aerosmith "co-headlined" in 2003, Aerosmith closed every night, and Kiss' live show was completely kicking their asses, which made Aerosmith look thrice as shitty.
