dude dont shit on Tommy, he didnt say anything about axl and he is one of the greatest rock drummers ever AND one of the few drummers responsible for most of his bands hits musically as Tommy wrote the guitar parts for a lot of motley's classics including wildside and girls girls girls

if u hate vince thats cool however even though i love Axl way more than vince, i believe in the late 80's vince wouldve wiped the floor with him

Launch Radio Networks is reporting that M?TLEY CR?E has been in intense rehearsals for its upcoming tour, which kicks off on February 14 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Besides its high-energy musical performances, the group has a reputation for lavish stage productions, and frontman Vince Neil said this year's show will be no exception. "All I can really say is it's the biggest thing we've ever done," he told Launch. "It's the wildest. It's got more visuals. It tops anything that we've ever done. It's amazing, and I can't tell you about it. I'll just say it this way: we're definitely bringing the circus to town."

Neil confirmed that the show will include some sort of drum solo stunt by Tommy Lee, who has previously played on wildly rotating kits and in the rafters, bungee-jumping when he finished.

The group currently has dates booked through mid-June in North America and Europe. The tour is expected to last at least 18 months. "Red, White And Cr?e", a two-CD compilation featuring three new songs, was released earlier this week.

The Crue is on crack if they think people still consider them GN'R's rival. Maybe back on the strip 18 years ago. Even by '91 GN'R's "rivals" were Metallica and Nirvana. When CD comes out- their rivals will be Metallica and VR. Jesus- Adler's Appetite would put up more of a challenge to GN'R than the Crue at the moment.

I'll agree with you that Tommy is pretty fuckin cool and is a great drummer. But I wont agree with you about Vince kickin' Axl's ass. When Vince punched Izzy in the face at the VMA's Izzy said that it felt like a fly landing on his face, and that he hit like a powderpuff. Now as for Axl's punch not being impressive when hitting that guy, thats a tough one because he had people pulling out of the crowd as he was trying to him, so that could be a factor as to why it wasnt very affective. (It didnt look like he got a very good swing.) Anyway in the late 80s, Axl was known for laying people out when they pissed him off. so without a doubt, Axl would have wiped the floor with Vince. And a lot of people that were around back then that knew both of them said so themselves. Just watch VH1 Greatest Celebrity Feuds and 100 Most Metal Moments. Rikki Ractman is one example of those people who said Axl would whoop his ass.

When it comes to my hero Axl Rose, few people have nice things to say, and nice things rarely come out of the mouths of the guys in Motley Crue.  So, relatively speaking, this short excerpt really wasn't that bad.  Like many, they seem to have a love/hate feeling for Axl.  They do, however, need to drop the Vince vs. Axl fued.  I mean, how long can this grudge go on?

While Vince, Nikki, Mick, and Tommy will always be the same crazy sonsofbitches (the nuts on Slash's face brought tears of laughter to my eyes), they admittedly had more chops than most 80's bands and put on one of the best live shows yours truly has ever seen.

Nobody should be suprised that they, like many others, have a tough time understanding what Axl is trying to do.  Hell, the guys in Axl's old band fall into that same large category.  Nevertheless, while the Crue had some great albums, none of 'em came close to Appetite. 

And hopefully the same can and will be said for Chinese Democracy...

I think it's both. Some of those people probably like to mention Axl since they're from the same era and they can make themselves look better by being compared to somebody who's band didn't stay together etc.

But I think it's also about fascination with Axl and how he just disappeared. Maybe some writers think that since these people were around at the same time, they'll get answers to why Axl disappeared from them. Axl's not talking so let's ask somebody who he toured with in 1987 or 1992.

Have you gotten drunk before? Izzy was a pretty small guy for starters. #2: I'm sure he was completely drunk. Normall you can catch any drunk guy offguard and push him over like a ragdoll.
