M?TLEY CR?E To Perform On Tomorrow's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' - Apr. 14, 2008

M?TLEY CR?E will tape two songs in Los Angeles tomorrow (Tuesday, April 15) for an episode of ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that will air later that night and the band wants YOU to be a part of the audience. Here's how: On a first-come, first-served basis, please show up at The Avalon in Hollywood, California on April 15 at 4:00 p.m. PST and be a part of the experience that will have people talking for days.

The address for the Avalon is as follows:

1735 Vine Street
Hollywood, CA 90028

M?TLEY CR?E & LIVE NATION? - Apr. 14, 2008

M?TLEY CR?E is expected to make an important announcement in Los Angeles tomorrow (Tuesday, April 15), and sources have told Pollstar.com what that big announcement is.

M?TLEY CR?E is expected to be the next 360-deal signing to Live Nation Artists, adding to the pool that includes MADONNA and, presumably, JAY-Z. At least that's the word at press time. No further details were available.

The CR?E recently denied a post at Robin Leach's Las Vegas gossip blog which suggested that the band had signed a three-album, three-tour deal with Live Nation for $100 million. Although the source of the rumor was reportedly singer Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx said in a statement, "M?TLEY CR?E has not signed any deals to tour or record whatsoever. Any information to the contrary is 100 percent incorrect."

The first **rumored and unconfirmed** dates have been leaked for the "Cruefest" tour, featuring M?TLEY CR?E alongside several other bands, including BUCKCHERRY, PAPA ROACH and SIXX: A.M.. They are as follows:

Jul. 01 - Cruzan Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach, FL
Jul. 03 - Ford Amphitheatre - Tampa, FL
Jul. 05 - Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre - Charlotte, NC
Jul. 13 - Nissan Pavilion - Bristow, VA
Jul. 24 - Superpages.com Center - Dallas, TX
Jul. 27 - Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - Englewood, CO
Aug. 02 - Glen Helen Pavilion - Devore, CA
Aug. 31 - Post Gazette Pavilion At Star Lake - Pittsburgh, PA

***Important***: The above-listed tour dates should be treated as a rumor only until officially confirmed by M?TLEY CR?E and its management.

I sure hope thats not the final list....theres no Vegas date yet, which is weird...Vince lives here, on the Carnival of Sins tour, they played a total of four shows at the Hard Rock, plus another one a year later with Aerosmith at the MGM......looks like i'll be going to Phoenix if they don't come here.

M?TLEY CR?E has set a June 17 release date for its new album, "Saints of Los Angeles". The CD will be issued through M?tley Records, the band revealed today (April 15) at a press conference in Los Angeles.

In support of the album, M?TLEY CR?E will embark on a 40-plus-city North American amphitheater tour, beginning July 1 at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla., and wrapping Aug. 31 at the Post-Gazette Pavilion in Pittsburgh.

Produced by Los Angeles-based Live Nation, Cr?e Fest '08 will also feature rock acts BUCKCHERRY, PAPA ROACH, TRAPT and CR?E bassist Nikki Sixx's side band SIXX: A.M.

Tickets will go on sale via www.LiveNation.com beginning Friday or Saturday, depending on the market. Fans that can't wait for the onsale can get their tickets immediately by going to TheRockvine.com. Citi cardmembers will also have access to purchase presale tickets through Citi's Private Pass Program, available to all Citi cardmembers at www.privatepass.citi.com starting now and running through Friday, April 18 at 10pm.

Says Nikki Sixx of M?TLEY CR?E, "We are SO excited not only to headline our own annual summer festival, but also to be able to share the stage with the next generation of great rock bands. There's not a lot M?TLEY CR?E hasn't done so to say this summer's festival is going to be about rock 'n roll excess is an understatement. A night of hit songs by great bands and a trail of panties coast to coast ... Cr?e Fest, hell yeah!"

Today's event featured the premiere of M?TLEY CR?E's brand new single,
"Saints of Los Angeles", which the band played live during a brief but raucous performance. The song, which also includes backing vocals by Josh Todd (BUCKCHERRY), Jacoby Shaddix (PAPA ROACH), James Michael (SIXX: A.M.) and Chris Brown (TRAPT) is the title track of the new album. Lyrically, the new album follows the story of the band's NY Times best-selling memoir "The Dirt", a no-holds-barred tell-all that features every gritty detail of the band's exploits as one of the world's biggest rock bands. The first single and video were serviced today to radio and television and the digital download was instantly made available for purchase at the iTunes Music Store. In an industry first, the song was also made available as a download for the Rock Band video game simultaneously with its single release.

In addition to being televised live on Fuse, the press conference was broadcast live online and syndicated on numerous websites including TheRockvine.com. M?TLEY CR?E chose to deliver the live stream using Microsoft Silverlight via iStreamPlanet, Co's iStream Player. The iStream Player is built on Microsoft Silverlight technology which is a lightweight cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in that delivers the next generation of fully immersive media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web. Silverlight ensures consumers worldwide have a consistent experience while watching content in any browser and on any platform.

That video was good stuff.  I'm digging the song as well.  It's like 1987 all over again.  The Crue is about to tour.  I saw Def Leppard last week, they were great and I actually like their lead single "Nine Lives".  Sebastian Bach put out a quality CD this year.  Now there's just one more band that needs to join the party.

Loved the Kimmel performance, love the video and love the song! The album can't come out soon enough I reckon. Also keeping my fingers crossed they stop by Australia on this tour. And Nikki better bring Sixx A:M with him too! Very exciting time to be a Cure fan.

Unless I'm seeing things (which is always possible) I see the lead singer to Pappa Roach and Buckcherry singing along side Vince in that video (which is awesome btw.)

they are both in the video, they're probably there to promote the tour but it would be awesome if they featured on the song at least the last chorus..

i think i may be digging this song now Tongue

I am going to seriously have to look into the Cruefest this summer.

Gonna be tricky to pull that off though, I'll have a 3 week old daughter first week of July when they come to FL.
