Very cool, I dig the new song a lot.   Sounds like they went back to their classic sound but updated it a bit.

F.... Awesome , thanks D... I saw Vince last thursday here in West Palm Beach, I talked to him for a while at his bar, Dr Feelgoods. he was very cool . During the concert he announced that the first gig of the tour will be in west palm  .. and the drummer... wooww.. let me just tell you, that guy stole the show.. he is very good.. here is a little video I took.

M?TLEY CR?E bassist Nikki Sixx has issued the following update:

"The [new M?TLEY CR?E] album's done, the video's done, the artwork is done, the photo sessions are all wrapped up and the single is ready to go to radio, rehearsals start tomorrow; wow? it?s been so busy, it feels like I'm leaving a few things out? and I probably am.

"I know a lot of you have heard 'Saints of Los Angeles' on the web? If you like the single, just wait 'till you see the video.

"OK, my eyes are red, and its a rare night to not have to work,so im gonna sit back and feel good about all the hard work. I hope you all like it as much as we do."

M?TLEY CR?E's new single, "Saints of Los Angeles", is being streamed at Spinner.com. The song is the title track of the band's ninth album (the previous album title "The Dirt" has now apparently been scrapped), which is tentatively due on July 8.

"Saints of Los Angeles" will be the band's first all-new studio effort since 2000's "New Tattoo". 1997's "Generation Swine" was the last to feature the group's original lineup, which reunited for a successful world tour in 2005.

Although it was reported last fall that drummer Tommy Lee had again quit the CR?E over legal issues, he and the group have reconciled.

On Tuesday, April 15, all four original members of M?TLEY CR?E will make a "colossal announcement" in Los Angeles, California with the location to be determined. According to a press release, "this will be by far the biggest music announcement of the year!"

BLABBERMOUTH.NET will stream the press conference in full beginning at approximately 4:00 p.m. PST / 7:00 p.m. EST.

The management company that represents M?TLEY CR?E told BLABBERMOUTH.NET that rumors about the band headlining a festival-type tour called "Cruefest" are "blatantly false and completely unfounded," although the company, 10th Street Entertainment, did admit that the band's press conference will involve at least "a few" of more than two dozen acts. Rumors began circulating about a so-called "Cruefest" after the CR?E revealed that it will make a "colossal announcement" on April 15, with other 10th Street bands like BUCKCHERRY, DROWNING POOL and PAPA ROACH reportedly on board.

Very pummped for the album and impending tour now. Glad that they ditched the title 'The Dirt'. The book came out about 8 years ago, sounded like they were just trying to milk it's success some more.
