Rocker TOMMY LEE has killed fans' excitement over MOTLEY CRUE's reunion - by announcing the music they're currently making is "kind of wack". Lee, Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil and Mick Mars recently confirmed reports they're planning to get back into the studio together and then embark on a two-year world tour in February (05), after six years apart. And while fans look forward to the re-teaming, Lee, who is still on unfriendly terms with Neil after the two had a fistfight six years ago, remains unenthusiastic. He tells Blender magazine, "This whole thing's kind of wack. I'm not sure any of (the songs) are that great. "To be honest, I don't even know why we're doing this interview." He adds, "One thing I don't miss about Motley Crue is seeing Vince's bloated, disrespectful ass every day." Neil has taken steps to ensure there's no tension on the tour, by insisting everybody has their own tour bus.

Nice to see they are one big happy family, judging by these comments i can't see the band making any decent music together again

yeah malcolm i was gettin ready to post that as well.

i think the tour will go great and a new motley album will rock

remember vince got fired at the height of their popularity

Generation Swine wasnt really a Motley record even though it kicked ass in my opinion it was bein written while corabi was still the singer

new tattoo didnt have Tommy so it missed his songwriting abilities

a new Crue album from scratch should be amazing

I can't see it i would love it but i think it is unlikely, If I Die Tomorrow wasn't good and it wasn't like it was written by the band together from scratch, also on the new Greatest Hits package we have another cover in Street Fighting Man and one totally original song if i remember correctly.  I don't think they are putting the effort in like we've said there is no need for a new greatest hits package, they should of got a new album together before this tour!  I can't wait to see them play the old tunes live but i don't hold much hope for any in the future.  I realise i am criticising them but people from other M?tley Cr?e threads will realise i don't do this often.  Every album of new material they have done i love in it's own way i am a big fan of the unpopular Theatre of Pain, M?tley Cr?e & Generation Swine albums.  I think if they get in the studio and put in the proper effort a new album would be great even if not successful as i have the upmost respect for them as musicians and know they are capable of producing something wonderful but the lack of effort for this makes me wonder whether they will be prepared, after the tour to write a new album.

yeah whats up with another anthology?

what about the "music to crash your car too" boxsets?

why the hell another anthology

if i die tomorrow was the number 1 added song to rock radio however and i think it is a kick ass track

they will do this tour but Tommy Lee has a new cd in the can he wants to release so i dont know if he would be up for a new motley cd

i think if the tour goes great they will record a new cd and continue on

if after the tour they feel its ran its course that will be it.

with Mick's health etc i dont think they had time to do a studio album and they felt they had to have something to tour behind, so they just shitted out another anthology.
