M?TLEY CR?E's "Red, White & Crue Tour 2005 ... Better Live Than Dead", which kicks off February 17, is turning out to be one of the hottest tickets around, according to a press release. The first date to go onsale was Toronto (onsale Dec. 10) sold out within hours. The tour's promoter Riley O'Connor indicated that because it sold out of its original configuration so quickly, he has since added additional seats.
M?TLEY CR?E's first television performance in six years was simulcast live in Times Square during their performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (ABC). M?TLEY CR?E will also be performing live on the Spike TV Video Game Awards Tuesday, December 14.
The band's new single, "If I Die Tomorrow", is already a success. It is the #1 most added song on both Mainstream and Active Rock radio formats in its first week. Jim Richards, Regional Vice President of Programming (Rock) for Clear Channel stated, "'If I Die Tomorrow' is a contemporary song, it's cutting edge and relevant. The radio stations are getting a big response from fans because they know they are part of something special."

The Canadian Press is reporting that M?TLEY CR?E fans in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary have started an aggressive campaign to convince the recently reunited band to spend some time in their neck of the woods in the new year. The 1980s big-hair group announced a slew of 2005 concert dates earlier this month but only two in Canada ? Feb. 23 in Toronto and Feb. 27 in Ottawa.
"We feel that M?TLEY CR?E should not be skipping over almost all of Canada, for there are thousands of M?TLEY CR?E fans here that have been patiently waiting for this tour for years," reads the online petition started by Winnipeg resident Krista Blahut.
As of midday Tuesday, more than 650 people had signed.
"We gatsa get some CR?E," wrote John McHenry when he added his name to the list.
"Please, please at least consider this," wrote another enthusiast, Jillian Clapham.
Lochlin Cross, program director at Winnipeg's Power97, said the station's listeners are rabid fans of the band, which includes bad boy drummer Tommy Lee and bassist Nikki Sixx.
"We refuse to let this band skip our city," said Cross. "A band like M?TLEY CR?E is going to make an emotional connection for a lot of people."

Tonights performance was pure SHIT!! I sure hope they get rid of those backing tapes, or there's gonna be hell to pay on the tour.
