What Tommy was saying was that he wasn't sure he wanted to make music as full length hour long albums anymore that nobody buys anyway. Maybe just go the route of releasing singles. I don't think he was talking about not making more music with Motley.

IT MAKES SENSE TO PROVIDE A MUSICAL SOUNDTRACK WITH SIXX: A.M., BUT DID YOU HAVE TO DO THAT BECAUSE THAT?S HOW FANS KNOW YOU BEST, AND YOU?RE USING IT AS SOME SORT OF CRUTCH? Right. I can see that. It?s funny because I wasn?t interested in naming the project. My manager played the music for some radio programmers and people inside the industry and they?re going, ?This is some of the greatest music we?ve heard in the last decade.? And then it blew up and we had such a great experience with it.

HOW SURPRISING IS THAT FOR YOU THAT IT DID TAKE OFF? It?s really great in the sense that you don?t want to do things and have people hate it. I know that it?s human nature to do something and like it when people enjoy it. But you don?t do it just to get feedback, because that?s narcissism. You have to do it as an artist and let go of the expectations. So when it comes back positive, that?s nice, but if it comes back negative, that?s okay too.

I base everything on personal experience. They say that what happens to you as a teenager you carry throughout your life, and you try to recover from it. You still listen to the same music; you still like a lot of the same things that you liked. And as a teenager, growing up in the ?70s ? New York Dolls, Slade, Mott the Hoople, the Stooges. I had crazy hair and wore make-up and wore fingernail polish and would tailor my own thrift store suits in a dirt-bag version of what Bowie was doing around Young Americans. I always had a black eye, I was always in a fist fight, and I always stood up for the music I believed in. I was looked down upon and laughed at and made fun of ? my own mother asked me, ?What?s wrong with you??

You give that kid a couple million dollars and a few hundred thousands cc?s of every drug he wants? You?ve got a definite recipe for crashing and burning. When I came out from the other side of that, I wanted to know why I felt so bad when my life was so good. I really didn?t understand. I still liked the same things I liked, but everyone was telling me, ?You?re hot. You?re sexy. You?re intelligent. You?re a genius. You?re a legend.? And I?m like, ?Fuck you! You?re the same people that told me I was a fucking faggot, a fuckin? weirdo, that I?m a talentless scum.?

SPEAKING OF THE CIRCUS, YOU GET RECOGNIZED BY MANY AS THE LEADER OF M?TLEY CR?E. DO YOU LOOK AT IT AS YOUR BABY OR LIKE YOUR FAMILY YOU?RE TRYING TO KEEP TOGETHER? No, we?re a band. Like all families, we each have a role, and I don?t think it works without all the family members. I definitely have a role, but so does Vince, so does Tommy and so does Mick. A lot of times people will go to different band members for different sources of energy and sources of information. If you hate us it?s okay. I get to be in a band with Mick Mars, Tommy Lee, and Vince Neil; it?s kind of amazing.

I?m the pretty solid rock guy and that?s because I?ve worked on that ? I wasn?t always like that. ?Nikki always returns our calls, he always gets back to us, he?s always available for conversations and stuff and he?ll always go and talk with the band.? But at the same time, I am the fucking broodiest, moodiest, crankiest . . . I am a fucking rock-and-roll snob. So they might have to go to Vince and say, ?Hey man, we want to do this tie-in with this company, and Nikki is just like, doesn?t want fuckin? nothin? to do with it because he don?t think it?s cool.? And Vince is like, ?Yeah, I can see where he?s coming from, but let me go and talk to him.? And Tommy will want to do this crazy energy thing . . . and we all just feed off each other. We all are a rock to the band in one way or another and we all are the downfall of the band in one way or another. I?m just surprised we?re even still around.

WHAT'S IT LIKE ONSTAGE THESE DAYS WITH THE CR?E, 30 YEARS IN? My friend saw us play the Hollywood Bowl and he said, ?Man, we you came out and did ?Wild Side? it was fucking mind-blowing!? And I said, ?Oh.? And he wanted to know why I said that. Because that?s the first song, and I?m trying to see which people I?m gonna douse in blood. And he said, ?But you were prowling back and forth, it was so intimidating!? I wasn?t ?prowling,? I was looking for anyone who was cringing. Anyone who is cringing is on my blacklist and looking to get baptized in a bucket of blood. I only think about insulting and assaulting. I want to fuck them hard.

I love Tommy, because he?s like the clown, he?s so happy and brings so much excitement to the show and Vince is like the ringleader and Mick and I are kind of like outcasts of our own band when we?re onstage. It?s the interaction between the four of us that creates this complete perfect package of energy.

The other night there was a moment where I looked at Vince and Vince looked at me and looked at the person in front of me and he just nodded his head with disappointed like, ?Go on . . . . ? There was this guy in like, a Polo shirt, tucked in and he had like, Dockers on and some really nice shoes on and Vince was just like [let?s out a big sigh].

Whoever says the band sucks, maybe pop is their thing? Love the new feel Tommy adds to this, the beat gets a really heavy sustain... the long and perfect stop in the middle, and of course the way Vince finalizing it. Very melodic.

Mick sounds richer too, adding SATD ..FUCK, they should do a 2011 studio-version based on this:

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- A federal investigation is under way after pictures surfaced of rock stars with firearms in Rowan County.Eyewitness News has learned a former Rowan County police officer works with musicians like Tommy Lee of Motley Crue and Bret Michaels. Eyewitness News received photos of the musicians at the Rowan County Peace Officers Association, where they were brought to fire guns.

Collins said the investigation is still ?very early,? but that he knows the Salisbury Police officers involved were off-duty, despite one of the officers wearing his uniform.

?Because of what it involves, in order to keep the investigation independent,? Collins said, ?the decision was made to ask the ATF to investigate.?

Auten said a preliminary search hasn?t confirmed that Lee is a felon, but that out-of-state criminal history is different from North Carolina?s.

?The original complaint was that Tommy Lee is a twice convicted felon,? Auten said. ?Out-of-state history is not easy to understand.?

Lee?s record could not be obtained Wednesday from the California Department of Corrections. According to an April 8, 1998, Los Angeles Times article, he pleaded no contest to a felony charge of spousal abuse after kicking then-wife Pamela Anderson while she held their son. He spent four months in prison.

In 2000, he pleaded no contest to inciting a riot at a 1997 Motley Crue concert in Greensboro. In exchange for his plea to an assault charge in the Greensboro case, prosecutors dropped a felony charge. Lee received 18 months probation.

North Carolina?s Felony Firearms Act says it?s illegal for a convicted felon ?to purchase, own, possess, or have in his custody, care, or control any firearm.?

Auten said the Rowan County Sheriff?s Office will undergo an internal review of the incident. Any criminal violations, Auten said, will be determined by the ATF.

very strange that he did this.  Nikki Sixx doesn't seem to be living in 2011.  Taping the shows is part of the game now.  Strange to see him get this bent out of shape over someone taping his show, he probably just did this for publicity.

Oh, come on, you guys..........it's rock n' roll!  Lame, maybe, but I sort of enjoyed watching him pull an Axl (and yes, that's what it was - don't anybody geek out and delete my post because I said that, for God's sakes).  Fucker shouldn't have been in the front row with a big ass camera anyway!  How did he sneak that in?!?  Someone had to deal with it, and no one else was, so, hey!  The show went on, though -  that's an important factor.
