Just been reading this thread and U CANNOT replace Tommy Lee


Some drummers can be replaced but not Tommy. he is one of those special handful of drummers that command an audience.

Also, tommy Co Wrote some of Motley's biggest hits.

Home Sweet Home which he wrote the piano part, Wildside and Girls,Girls,Girls are just some of his contributions musically.

Agreed. That would be like taking Vinnie from Pantera. It just doens't work.

They'll just just fine without tommy, they can make a OK album without him, he isnt irreplaceable....maybe they should give steven adler a ring 

like new tattoo was a ok - good album, and that was without tommy, diffrence is, without tommy it will go from great-good down to okish - good at best

problem is, if tommys heart isnt in it, why should he be there.

you need ability yes, and his is great, but....if you havent got the drive to push it in whatever project, then whats the point in wastin his and the other guys time?

They're perfectly able to rock on and make great music without Tommy.
Axl Rose has a band that by all means has proven itself to work to put it that way, that doesn't mean the band/music is for everyone's like-in.

The band itself works, but as Guns N' Roses, it does not.

even if, they could always use josh freese...he played on ALOT of the supernova record, and on a couple of the new Crue red white and crue songs..so he can cop tommys style if he has to..

i rember reading a year ago or something that i think vince or nikki said they have over 100 ideas of songs and hope to have an album out for 07, well we know and 07 album is out of the question

who knows, maybe he means sick love song and if i die tomorrow, who knows, i think tommy may have played on them, but freese wrote them, thats just a guess who knows

the cover of "street fighting man" is josh freese on drums...tommy couldnt be in the studio because he was filming that reality show, so they used josh freese.

and josh freese plays drums on a few of the supernova tracks

Crue would not be the same without Tommy.

And Tommy's solo career is pretty Dependant on what he does with Crue as well. 

so they both need each other.

From what Sixx has said, Tommy is not out of the band officially, and that a lot of the media jumped the gun on announcing his departure.

I hope this is the case, I remember the Crue without Lee and it sucked.

i loved the dvd they did, with samantha malone 

that was a great show, if the sound was better, and vince could keep up 

it just looks like tommy is in two minds wether he is ready for the commitment, im readin his bio at the moment, some crazy shit

Looks like Crue including Tommy will  be back in early '08! That is good news- great find on that interview
