The Izzy Stradlin programme must be worth ?20.00 ($40.00) I would have thought. You don't see them very often at all. You found that one nicely.

yes it was nice suprice to find this Izzys tourbook Cheesy

got of course another one packet today:
Huge lot of Vintage Guns n Roses 7" pic sleeve RARE!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270154728054

was just wondering if those two items of this packet (welcome to the jungle promo and promo flexi) are really rare or not? Cos bought this packet just to get those two items Roll Eyes

I have been? GNR fan since 1990 and collecting GNR stuff since 1990 or 1991, but then there was almost 10years break n kind of my appetite "reactivated" again one year ago...
1st items I got (some kind of rare ones back then early 90s) were bootleg 12" called Grind and Dont cry 12" picdisc and Road to Illusion box. Then bought from one friend this Japan ep (6tracks, 5live and SCOM studio) and SCOM shaped picdisc from one other guy (one x-mas managed to drop n break that SCOM-item n that for sure wasnt x-maspresent I expected n wanted...). I think did collect some GNR stuff then 3-4years and then did stop almost completely but now back in business. But talking about rainy days I think this obsession is kind of out of control n need to lil calm/slow down but just a little Smiley

The promo is great. I always thought it was quite rare. A few years ago it was quite scarce, but in the last couple of years have seen more and more. I would hazzard a guess that the promo is worth more than the other items combined.

you got a bargain with the 7" collection.
ive got the flexi and paid about ?10 for it.. in paul stennings unofficial biography he lists the flexi as the rarest gnr piece of merchandise and values it at ?1000. but as the old saying goes its only worth as much as someone will pay for it, the most ive seen it on ebay for was $150, it is quite rare though but more and more are appearing all the time.

But anyway, that flexi really is one of the rarest Gn'R items. And especially was back then when the book was written, as already said: those are appearing now more often.

Have to agree here with Almost Famous.  Don't get me wrong - I bought two of Stennings book so far, but as far as his discography/memorabilia section goes, way off.  You want to see some RARE items?  Here you go (and these are just a few):
