I've just opened account on the tracker, but the torrents will not start downloading, active seeders, any idea's why???

Then you probably do have not forwarded the port. I take it your on a wireless router? www.portforward.comFind your make of router, pick what torrent program your using and it will show you how to forward the correct port... |

generally, torrents work even if you are not connectable (it's worse though). maybe your ISP is blocking torrents, go to your utorrent settings, menu Options > Preferences > Bittorrent > Enable Protocol encryption.

sometimes if u use a router it will not work it is hard to set them up right so i do not use 1 but i know lots do
