The latest leg ended in Japan in July and currently there are no future shows announced.

I have a very strong feeling that Guns N' Roses will not play anymore dates without the album, and that the first shows with the album in the streets will be in Argentina/Brazil.
I think its a coherent feeling.

I think you're wrong on both counts.
(GNR coming to South America and Tevez owning Rooney
)
I'm hoping you're right. No more touring, just release the CD.

I doubt that comepletly. If CD is released they'll be in the states promoting and touring for it, then going back to europe.

Seriously doubt they'll tour the US without an album. European and Asian fans are much more forgiving.

I might be wrong about my GNR hypothesis, but I'm absolutely RIGHT about Tevez owning Rooney

Let's put it this way: Guns N' Roses played in USA in 2001, 2002 and 2006. Lots of gigs, almost the complete country covered.
But there was just ONE show in southamerica in 6 years and it was in front of the biggest crowd in the whole Guns N' Roses concert history.
Guns N' Roses only need to play 6 or 7 dates in Southamerica. That can be done in two weeks. The first shows with the CD in the streets have to be something historical, something massive, and considering that GNR
hasn't any other chance rather than
doing stadium shows in southamerica, I think that this theory is coherent. Then a huge northamerican tour can be done, of course.
Inaugurating the ''CD In the streets era'' in front of the biggest crowds possible, in places where GNR dont visit since 6 years (Brazil), 14 years (Argentina) and 15 years (Chile, Colombia) could be a great move.
There is life outside USA dude. Everything has been already colonized...

No need to be rude estebanf. As much as I agree that a show in s. america would be cool, from a marketing standpoint a US promo tour makes more sense. and no, not all of the us has been toured. Much of the south west and such hasn't even seen gnr since the UYI tour.

They did have some venues booked....or reserved. I know of one for a fact was booked for last week in Vancouver BC. My guess is there may have been plans that did not become a reality. Like CD should have been released by now or in the near future. Or maybe they just planned to continue to tour without a release. But looks as if that has changed. Apparently they would not be putting any finishing touches on CD cuz Del James said so....right Jarmo? Guess they are doing nothing with their time but waiting like the rest of us.

I had heard the same from several sources as well. More then a few people say venues were (are?) being held for a fall 2007 US tour.

I'm getting frustrated. I saw GNR last November but I want an album of even a single before I want to see them...
