Flee the scene...

« on: September 10, 2007, 11:21:19 AM »

Did anyone notice, during the red carpet pre-show there was a guy in the background, on the red carper with a backstage pass and a vintage bullet logo GN'R shirt. Then later there was a commercial with Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels for some rap reality show and he too was wearing a killer vintage GN'R shirt. It was really cool too, it was grey pring with the Tophat Skull with fangs, Illusion era skull. Also, some young rock band was rocking a vintage Skid Row shirt. The Douche host, not Loader but the 40 year old that looks like a skeleton in a blonde wig, even complimented him on it.

here's Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels shirt, I just bought it on Ebay! Sweet!

With all the positive hype surronding Britt and then the terrible performance, seemed way too familiar. I wonder if the return, return of GN'R to MTV will be met with open arms.

I'm surprised to hear anyone call John Norris a douche. Although he looks weird these days, he's always seemed to be a cool guy.

As for DMC wearing the GNR shirt, I thought that was cool. I caught the very end of that episode of Celebrity Rap Superstar and I missed Bach's performance. I wanted to see if Baz commented it DMC's GNR shirt.

Anyone know?

Actually, I was just being a smartass. I am sure he's a nice guy.

I was just reading your past posts. So, what have you had to say lately that has had any bearing on anything besides dogging the band and or posters?

Hmm... ok, I see. I'll let the "breaking news" and "significative contribution" part for you (a.k.a. the "best forum member") then. What tremendous news will you post today, master?

I didn't mean to come off as offended by what you said. I was just surprised to see that said about John Norris.

I still do like to see the youngins wearin' the GNR gear though.
