He really looks like Val there.  Facially.

You would think his mom would give him a hookup at Jenny Craig.  What gives?

VAN HALEN 2007-2008 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR HIGHEST GROSSING IN BAND?S HISTORY

Arena Concerts Sell Out Across The Country, Grossing More Than $93 Million
LOS ANGELES -- June 5, 2008

(Los Angeles, CA) June 5, 2008 ? Nearly a million fans journeyed from all over the world to witness the landmark VAN HALEN tour, which kicked-off in September of 2007 in Charlotte, NC and wrapped up June 2, 2008 in Grand Rapids, MI. VAN HALEN, featuring Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Alex Van Halen and Wolfgang Van Halen delivered their bombastic live assault performances to legions of loyal fans at 75 arena concerts throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Performing live with Roth for the first time in more than 23 years, VAN HALEN proved its timeless catalog of hits still packs the punch it did decades earlier. Each night, the band treated the capacity audiences to a dream set list of more than two hours of VAN HALEN gems plucked from their original era. Favorites including, ?Jump?, ?Ain?t Talkin? ?Bout Love?, ?Panama? and more, received a jolt of vivacity and spirit.

?We send our thanks to the countless new and lifetime fans that helped make this tour our most successful,? said VAN HALEN in a joint statement. ?We also send special gratitude to the tireless efforts of the VAN HALEN touring crew, Live Nation and the media, as well as opening acts Ky Mani Marley and Ryan Shaw,? the band went on to say.

Now that the final bits of confetti have fallen, VAN HALEN has their sights set on bright horizons with exciting developments on the way.

Uhhh, they blocked McCain from using "Right Now" during his campaign.

They said he didn't get permission from them, nor would he have GOTTEN permission from them to use that song.

Ouch.

The DVD from New Jersey is coming out in time for Christmas.  And a new album later in 2009.

Of course, the album might never see the light of day.

Well, they've been talking about working on one for awhile.  And it doesn't look like anything will come out this year.

A visit to VH Links is in order.

I think Eddie recently mentioned a new album but said it would be after he got married, Wolfgang graduates-it's his right, but I don't think Van Halen has been his #1 priority for many years now

Eddie Van Halen Auctions Off His Classic Cars

Classic car collectors with a hankering for Van Halen have the opportunity of a lifetime, as Eddie Van Halen is selling two Chevrolet classics from his personal collection during the 33th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jan. 11th ?18th.

The winning bidder will not only drive home with the car, but will get a matching one-of-a-kind EVH Brand "Wolfgang" guitar and a pair of red, white and black EVH striped sneakers.

Van Halen?s 1956 Chevrolet 210 is a maroon Pro Street hot rod built by customizer Jim Van Gordon. The second car is also from 1956, a Chevrolet Nomad. The wagon has a classic "Cashmere Blue" and white paint scheme and was once part of the famed ?Harrah Collection? in Reno, Nev. Both cars will be auctioned with no reserve price.

"Out of all the cars I have owned over the years, I hung onto the ?56 Sedan and Nomad because I was closely involved in restoring and building them, so they are very special to me," the guitar God said. "I almost hate to let them go, but I don't have the time to drive them. It kills me to see them sit there when someone else could be driving them and have the pleasure and joy of owning these beautiful classic cars."

"Since they are so dear to me, I thought I would make it even more special by having two custom-made Wolfgang guitars built to match each car," Van Halen added. "I hope the new owners enjoy these cars as much as I have and keep the guitars and cars in their families for a long time, because they are all one-of-a-kind."

More information about the auction can be found at Van Halen's official Web site in the news section.

In addition to collector vehicles, the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction will also include luxury vendors, galas and fashion shows.

Eddie Van Halen will wed his fianc?e (and publicist), Janie Liszweski, in June. Then, he'll attend the high school graduation of his son ? and bass player ? Wolfgang. But after that, Eddie hopes to release new music with the current incarnation of the legendary band that bears his name. And, as he tells Spinner.com, yes, that includes David Lee Roth.

"Dave, Wolfie, Alex and I are a band," he tells Spinner.com in an interview. "I hope that after Janie and I get married, and Wolfie graduates, that we sit down and discuss recording new music, which I have tons of. If Dave's up for singing ... then do another tour, and just see where it takes us. Actually, next week or the week after Wolfie, Alex, and I are gonna start jamming. Maybe we'll give Dave a call and see what he's up to. He's off, always doing his own thing, and he checks in every now and then to see how we're doing."
