TO answer your post with the picture in it, Hillary....NO! Hagar can just take his speed limit and tequila songs somewhere else!  Wolfgang is a true Van Halen, and I only see great things happening.

My ultimate VH album rankings.  (No Van Hagar stuff)

Van Halen
Van Halen 2
1984
Fair Warning
Women And Children First
Diver Down

From a new interview with Sammy:

They're doing the Dave thing. This is Dave's trip. Dave has got to be the happiest guy on the planet. And the Dave-era fans are probably happy too. I think that at the end of the night you're going to go, "I heard a bunch of great songs, but I wish I had heard 'Poundcake' or 'When It's Love' or 'Dreams' or 'Right Now'." You're going to miss those songs...

I liked Van Hagar, but I'm not going to miss hearing those songs. When Sam was in the band they played the same four Roth songs over and over and over and over and over. So now it's time to forget about 86+ and just focus on classic Van Halen.

I ran into two guys at the airport today that were wearing Van Halen 2007 tour t-shirts.  I asked them if they went to any shows.  They said they went to both Charlotte and Greensboro and that they were fantastic.  Even better than they expected.  I can't wait for the 28th either.

March of the Pigs

« Reply #645 on: September 30, 2007, 05:55:29 PM »

Just listened to the boot from the opening night (it's on jamtothis.com and dimeadozen.org) and it's fantastic  both performance and sound.  I was skeptical about Dave's ego/voice, Ed's drinking and no Mike, but not any more. It may be the best VH boot I've ever heard, and I have close to 100. Roll on New Jersey.

Sammy, Sammy, Sammy....

The public has spoken.  Those songs are boooooooooooring!  Sunday Afternoon In The Park has more balls than all those songs put together.

The tickets for msg just went on sale last week and sold out in a matter of minutes!  There was an article in the NY Post yesterday reviewing the first show and they said it truly rocked and they voted it best rock show of the year!  If anyone has extra msg tics let me know, otherwise I'm going to buy them on craigslist closer to the date.

Just wondering....is SLCPUNK and SLCDRUNK the same person?  hihi

That is a pretty funny quote from Sammy, he's a bit full of himself when he says people are gonna miss 'poundcake', etc.

I have a feeling no one cared at the Charlotte concert they did not get to hear 'Dreams'  hihi

Nope, he's just riding my coattails.

Personally, I think Sammy's right. In the middle of Romeo Delight, I know I'll be thinking, "gee, I wish they'd stop rockin' so hard, bring out the keyboards and play 'Why Can't this be when it's Love' right about now...  Roll Eyes?

Wow, I feel like I got a bargain getting 5 tickets for $93 each.  Of course I could probably make a pretty penny selling them.  But I don't think I wanna miss this one.
