There was a song Alanis Morrisette sang years ago called 'Uninvited'. I've always really loved that song and think Axl could do really good on it...

Ever since that rumour was around about Axl and Pink singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" i've wanted to hear axl sing that!!

I think in the fiction he was just doing backing vocals...but I'd love to see GNR do like a heavy version of the song with the 3 guitars and axl singing all the lyrics....

I think i'm in dreamland though!

All Apologies - Nirvana
Hide Your Love Away - The Beatles
Mr Blue Sky - ELO
Made of Stone - Audioslave
Bullet in your head - RATM
Alive - Pearl Jam
The Winners Lose - Ice T/Body Count
Paint it Black - Rolling Stones
Let Down - Radiohead
Sign O The Times - Prince

God there's so many and I'm blanking huge time now. I might get flamed for some of the choices but I'd love to hear him sing:

"18 and Life"-Skid Row
"Wasted Time"-Skid Row
"Mama Said"-Metallica
"Down with the Sickness"-Disturbed
"Whatever"-Godsmack
"Serenity"-Godsmack

So fucking many and I can't think right now lol

Singin' tu-lur-a-lei-oh...

« Reply #471 on: January 07, 2007, 01:00:43 AM »

Got a feeling inside,

Can't explain!,

's a certain kind,

Can't explain!,

I feel hot and cold,

Can't explain!,

yeah, down in my soul, yeah,

Can't explain!

I said,

Can't explain!,

feeling good now, yeah, but,

Can't explain!

Dizzy (Reed) in the head an' I'm...

Actually, bollocks to it, I'd love to freekin' hear anybody sing that right now. Man have I got it in my head. Whoa yeah could I go for some Axl vocals on some Who classics right now.

I mean, they'd be no patch on Roger Daltry's efforts, blatantly, but still...

Though of course, you'd have to be a madman with terrible vocals to make a Who song sound bad. Then again, Fred Durst managed it...

... Oh yeah, sustained!

Other songs off the top of me 'ead from the 'oo that I'd like to hear Axl have a crack at:

Slip Kid
Pinball Wizard (You know, more along the lines of the Elton John version than the Who one)
How Many Friends
Circles
Love Rein O'er Me

and about a hundred more.

I believe in a thing called love - the darkness.  rofl

seriously i'd like to hear:
estranged - because i wanna know how great can he sing it nowadays.
Reckless life - how would he sing it as a 45 years old?  hihi
Bohemian Rhapsody - he sang only the "rockpart" of it at the freddie mercury tributeconcert.
