NIN - Hurt It can't be covered better than Johnny Cash did so why bother?  I think it would be fun if they covered something kinda obscure. Maybe by a popular band, but still not their most well-known song. Kinda like how they never covered the Sex Pistols' biggest "hits", instead they picked "Black Leather". /jarmo |

The hard part of covering a song, is making it sound different, but still keeping it recognizable. There's not just ONE way of doing things... |

If Axl sang love hurts before 1994 it would sound EXACTLY the same as the orignal Nazareth Love Hurts. Now on the other hand, well, I don't think it would sound as good. It would be more like Barry Gibb singing it. I do agree the music could be updated though. |
