MTV reported :

"but the singer has seemingly checked out of public life for the last four years.
With exception of the occasional appearance among the crowd at a concert
(like Radiohead's Los Angeles show last year), Rose has kept a remarkably
low profile."

from the rolling stone interview :

"Well, Radiohead uses beats that are similar to hip-hop beats.
There's actual, "official" hip-hop beats and then there's "Radiohead-style"
hip-hop beats, there's rock beats."

Does the walker choose the path?

Oh wow! Loads of songs would sound great sung by Axl because his voice can be used in so many different styles of songs. There are quite a few that I would like to list and probably a lot more that I cant think of at this exact moment!! The songs below I just think would send fucking shivers up peoples spines with Axl singing them.

Estranged (live again please! Its been too long without hearing the greatest song ever written being performed live again)
Breakdown (that I would give anything to hear live)
Feel (Robbie Williams)
Made of Stone (Audioslave)
This Baby’s got a Temper (Prodigy)
Creep (Radiohead)
No Surprises (Radiohead)
Imagine (John Lennon)
Jealous Guy (John Lennon)
U Oughta Know? (Alanis Morrisette)
Paint it Black (The Rolling Stones)
Janies got a Gun (Aerosmith)
Helter Skelter (The Beatles)

U oughta know - alanis morrisette HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh
Creep, No surprises - Radiohead?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

Those are really and definitely strange songs to be performed by W.A.Rose

But I would like to listen to him singing Robbie Williams' Feel...

@;-----;::;;--------------- The Perfect Rose

Why are they such strange songs to be performed by the man himself? They are the kind of songs that I would imagine he could really stamp his own style on and make mindblowing. On top of that those three songs all have fucking great lyrics which Axl specialises in making songs sound so real and brings the lyrics right to peoples attention, which a lot of artists dont seem to be able to do, and the great lyrics they may write get lost!! Shit I got a bit deep then sorry! They are just cool fucking songs that in my opionion Axl would make even better!  Even though its all hypothetical!

If you want to hear the greatest live version of Helter Skelter, Go buy U2's Rattle and Hum. No one could top it.

Best choices so far gimme shelter, acdc (anything!), and 7 nation army, even though I'm not the biggest fan of the song because I think the voices are kinda similar (not Mick Jagger, obviously, was it Merry Clayton doin the back ups?)
I'd associate Axl with screeching, raw, drawn out vocals like (you gotta give the other fella) hhhheeeeeeeellll! in Live and Let Die and a lot of You Could be Mine, so Id love to see him have a crack at Goldeneye by Tina Turner, as well as The Ground Beneath Her Feet by U2, In Bloom by Nirvana,  Feeling Good by Muse,  Roadhouse Blues by The Doors,  and a lot of Zeppelin tracks, notably Heartbreaker, In the Evening, and of course Stairway to Heaven! My two cents, cool thread by the way!

Stairway to heaven would be cool, the extro of the song is suitable for his voice I think.
