Right on! Ive always wondered about the show and era... wow. I was fuckin 1 year old, if that. I was born within a month or so of appetite's release. Look at me now! grown up, engaged to be married (normal clothes, no priest, gnr/thedoors/floyd/zeppelin for the music, especially CD.), crazy as all hell (in good and bad ways), and studying in Japan like I always dreamed of. I grew up on GNR. Literally. right from the get go, my old man was in love with sweet child o mine and thought of it in a way as him and his new son's song. He also remembers hearing a uyi song on the radio, a sort of debut for the new album, on the way to the hospital when my little sister was being born... he had to turn it off and run into the hospital despite wanting to hear it very badly, he had more important things to do haha. And Axl is still going. Im 28 now, and he is still goin. Thanks for a lifetime of great music! I dont care if he reads it or not, at least I can share my sentiments with whoever feels like reading, and Im grateful for the platform Jarmo provides to do so.
And thanks Em, it was definitely worth a dollar.
