I think IT WAS tied, but the Police cut (is that possible?), because it's a mugshot and he was arrested @ Phoenix Airport

I've never heard of the police cutting someones hair for a mugshot.

It's the mugshot from Rose's arrest at Phoenix Harbor Airport in 1998, after a scuffle with security over his handbags (according to the police report).

Axl's hair is short - notice the ends on his left side (the viewer's right side). That's the length.

To further that, the police report read; "Hair: over ears."


PS: I remember allt his, since somebody once mentioned it was in a ponytail. It was not. One to two years later, Kurt Loder hooked up with Rose at the studio and described his hair as having a "Prince Valiantish" length. Which is the cut he has here, only 1-1? years longer.

Me in Nice, France last week. My girlfriend was a bit embarrassed of taking the picture, don't know why!   Wink
