VR at Jones Beach

well last night I went to see VR at jones beach, and boy what a show it was. Here is a little story about what happened before the show:

At jones beach, if you have a washing mutual debit or credit card you can get access to the VIP lounge, I have a debit card so i got the VIP tics. In the VIP loung there is a boardwalk right on slash's side of the stage thats about 10 rows back that you could stand on. I was standing front row of this boardwalk and right in front of where i am standing there is a walk way that leads to a stair case that leads to the back stage area. So all of a sudden i see a Jones Beach staff member run right passed me. Behind him the was a man also running  and behind that man there was a woman running behind him. That man (not the staff member) turns around to see if the woman is still behind him and low and behold, ITS DUFF FUCKIN MaKAGAN!! I was so amazed that he was fuckin 1 foot away from me. Unfortunatley he was running to get backstage so i didnt have time to meet him or anything, but I just thought that was a cool story from the show.

AIC was amazing, they played for exactly 50 minutes and played all their hits, Them Bones, Man In The Box, Down In A Hole, Would?, Rooster, crazy setlist. VR went on at 9:10pm and off at 9:50pm and played a 20 song setlist, dropping Just 16 and Wish You Were Here. From the moment they went on to the moment they went off it was high energy, Scott dancing around, Dave running all around the stage, Slash with some of his best solos hes done in a while and Duff and Matt holding the rhythem of the show together, all in all, the best show ive seen all summer.
