Do you have any source for that? I saw an interview in portuguese TV with Roberto Medina after RIR 06 and what he said is that GN'R is his favourite band and that for him they would play every RIR, which is very different from "GNR will play RIR '07"...
Anyway, you may have heard that from a different source...

It's definitely possible that they'll play, assuming that the "finishing touches" on CD don't take long, so that by then they can be gearing up for the album release and another  world tour, maybe this time will be the charm.

I think it's more likely that they will be at RIR 6 then CD being out in stores.
