Alice Cooper-The Last Temptation: I think it's up there with Billion Dollar Babies and Nightmare as some of Alice's best work ever. Amazing album from start to finish I can't skip a single song.
The Black Crowes- Lions: Not as great as some of their other albums but still really good and way better than the couple before it. Really just came and went without any notice when it was released.
AC/DC- Ballbreaker: Their best album since "Back In Black". Definately my 2nd favorite Brian Johnson fronted album, slightly ahead of "The Razors Edge" (always preferred the Bon stuff to almost anything).
Guns N' Roses-The Spaghetti Incident: This album gets trashed in the press constantly still and I never understood why. I think the concept was just lost on some. I love to fucking crank up every song on it tho.
Pantera-The Great Southern Trendkill: I think it's their best album and possibly the greatest metal album of all time. Heavy as fuckin' anything but still with kick ass grooves. Better than "Far Beyond Driven" in my opinion.
Black Sabbath-Sabotage: I think Hole In The Sky and Symptom of the Universe are better than any song on "Paranoid". That alone says it.
Jerry Cantrell-Degradation Trip Vol. 1&2: Probably the best thing to come out this centruy. Amazingly honest record, doesn't take any time to show off what a good guitar player he is, cause it's all about the songs.
Izzy Stradlin-Anything he has ever done: Even most of my friends who are big GnR fans haven't heard much of Izzy's stuff just cause it has been so hard to find for some years. Izzy is just a phenomenal songwriter who deserves all of the praise in the world. In a perfect world Nickelback would never have played outside a bar, no one would know who fall out boy were, and Izzy would be played on every rock radio station.

i totally agree on the sabbath album, id say its one of my favourites, its brilliant.

I absolutely agree with you. The Last Temptation seems to be the third Album in the "Steven" trilogy. The first being "Welcome to My Nightmare", the second being "Goes To Hell'. It would be great to see a fourth album based around Steven.

Has anyone heard DA DA though? There is a song on there called "Formerly Warner" about Alice's "brother" who lives in the attic. Could it be another reference to Steven??

Anyway, Da Da is also very underrated.

Dynasty got a reputation as a disco album because of one song. There is some good stuff on there. As for Stanleys latest solo effort, if it works for you, cool.

I just found the Dynasty cassette that I bought at the time "I Was Made for Loving You" came out!
Is that the song that gave it a disco reputation? Better listen to the thing again. If I could just find a 'cassette player'!

1916 by Motorhead is a cool album but album like Ace Of Spades are their more well-known efforts. Love Me Forever, Angel City and R.A.M.O.N.E.S. are all very good. The title track is also interesting and very 'un-Motorhead'. I like it.

I'll be honest in saying "I Was Made for Lovin' You" was one of the songs that first introduced me to KISS, one of my favorite bands. As such, it still stands as one of my favorite KISS songs, regardless of reputation. But that album is most definately viewed by most who don't get it as a disco album (KISSco) because of that one song, which is totally unfair. When I first heard Dynasty, songs like "2000 Man" and "Magic Touch" immediately jumped out at me and are still among KISS' best songs. Oh, and I prefer the KISS era without make-up. Call it nostalgic, I dunno. I went out and picked up KISSology, Vol. 2 this morning and it even blows away Vol. 1 for me. KISS fans, check it out.

And yes, I really dig Stanley's latest solo effort and I think there's some real great guitar melodies hidden in there in no small thanks to guest players like John 5. Paul was always my favorite member, so I guess if you're into Paul I think this is just an album that a lot of people missed when it came out or sort of passed over altogether. At the very least I'd wish more people would download it for a listen. Pick it up if you dig it, and definately see him on one of his solo tours if you can. You'll get to see that Paul really was/is KISS and puts on one hell of a show.

Tyranny Of Souls - Bruce Dickinson

Despite Chemicall Weding and Accident of Birth being 2 major albuns in the metal world, everybody was blown away with the quality of this 2 albuns. The last album Dickinson released (its a great album) but stayed in the shadows...like if only a small group of people knew it was released

I love this fuckin album

I wasn't a huge fan of Limp Bizkit before but this album has great lyrics and some damn good melodies.
Yes me too man, it's very deep and has a lot of good songs... we agree on so much...

Smashing Pumpkins, Adore

not a masterpiece, but a very very good album that was in the shadow of the hugely popular epic album Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness.
