Metallica - Load or Reload  I dont get why people hate these albums, ok not as good as master but Amazing albums!(Fixxxer and king nothing are the best songs from these two and both great tracks)
GN'R Lies - Short and Sweet
Skid Row - Subhuman Race - so agressive, better than skid row and almost as good as slave to the grind.

It's because they stopped making metal albums and started making hard rock albums which, if you're a metal fan, was not a cool move.  I like metal and hard rock, so I've always liked those albums, but a lot of metal fans don't for just that reason.  And, to top it off, it's one piece in the larger "Metallica sold out" image.

Re Load, is an average album, Load is way better, if they would have made just one album with those two, it would have been HUGE, Re load's "Carpe Diem Baby" is one of the best song on that album. great riff, great drumming, and greeeeat guitar solo, it totally fits the song. Kirk rocks!

also i think crashdiets albums are under-rated, they never get the exposure outside of sweden that they deserve.

Anything by testament - this guys are amazing most of the albums rock and the vocals are great.
Practice what you preach could possibly be there best with songs like Perilous nation and the the ballad.
