You know, I don't usually cause a commotion and just say my opinion and move on but this fucking post you made really bothers me. if you keep it up there will be noone here.. I realize you have met the band and axl may be in favor of what you're doing or you may think you're doing whats going to get you brownie points or whatever the fuck..what you do and how you run this place is your business not mine..BUT just as axl fell from grace so is this site and i notice myself being here less and less... you don't care and i don't care and thats great..we agree.

to me the definition of a fan...is just being a fan..liking the music ..takin an  interest in their music.. how the band came about... stories behind the music... i didn't know i was suppose to believe everything axl says and not the rest of the band... or agree with everything about the band...hmmm.... i'm confusing myself..what did you say a fan was again?? maybe i had it wrong all these years..  i tend to just form my own opinion based off of what comes out of the bands i take interest in mouths.. or their actions...there is more than 1 way to form opinions.... sometimes not believing in bullshit is a good way too.....

People who disrespect the current band, the board and fellow fans do get banned. Often that gets misinterpreted as them getting banned just for being fans of the old band. That's not my problem.

If you're an idiot, you get banned. Easy as that.


Here's an analogy: You have to be somewhat stupid to walk into a Yankees supporters bar wearing a Red Sox shirt. Or when in Rome, wear a Lazio shirt in the wrong part of town.

of course many prefer the original GnR lineup, and thats fine and understandable and no one cares about that.   We all love GnR and you'd be hard pressed to find a fan that isn't a fan of GnR in its early incarnations.  But that does not mean its cool to disrespect the band (or its fans) now jus because your favorite member left over 10 years ago.   

Bottom line is, GnR is Axl, Dizzy, Tommy, Robin, Richard, Chris, Brain, Ron, and Frank.   If someone has a problem with that, I dont understand why they would still be hanging out on a GnR board.    They shoulda left with Matt Sorum.

im more a fan of the original gnr, but ive seen the line up axl had in 2006 and they wernt exactly a shit act, however the claims that people here are to support 2007 line up is ridiculous, people signed up here long before 2007, i signed here what, 2003, 2004?  most people are here because they are a fan of guns n roses, meaning they heard the albums done back then or witnessed A line up which got them into getting those very same albums done back in the 80s and early 90s.

Everyone says they need to respect current gnr, as a touring band yes, when they release an album for us all to hear, not for sebastian bach to have a little listen, for the world to hear, and if its good, then they willl get the respect some of these axl bummer people crave for them to have on a level that they created music with axl. Until then, they are respected as a credible touring live act, who did some albums with previous bands which were alright, nothing more.

Why stolat claims in other threads to me that axl wont release the album until everyone is behind the new line up is beyond me, how the hell can you know what axl possibily feels, and that axl even cares what you or i or anyone other than people he actually know have to say.

I think if everyones to get on, people need to stop ripping on past members or VR just because axl and scott had a few words of abuse to say about one another, i also think people need to stop saying "oh the new line  up sucks" the new line up doesnt suck the only person that is wrecking the gnr name is axl himself for not releasing an album. 

i cant be bothered to go back over this and make sure its all correct so, make whatever you will of my rant.
