From my understanding, there might be an Izzy Stradlin' tour this year. 

Do you have a source for this?

As far as I'm aware he hasn't referenced this himself in any interview. The last time he mentioned touring (Nov 06) he said "if people start pulling the downloads off the net then yeh we could try and set something up".

I would like nothing better than a solo tour but not getting my hopes up unless someone can show me a source.

Oh dude, don't even take my statement to be something official.  NO WAY!  No credible sources or anything, that's just the word on the street and at the clubs.

Please, don't get your hopes up.  If you don't expect anything, the surprise is so much better.

Speaking to Mark the Shark of the TK101 radio station in Florida, Slash stated about the July 28, 2007 gig, "I went down there for a minute to say 'Hi' to Steven [Adler, original GUNS N' ROSES drummer, who was headlining the show with his band ADLER'S APPETITE] and what-not. What happened was Steven has finally come out of that sort of haze that he's been in for the last 17 years ? I don't think I need to explain it any more than that. I was sort of instrumental in getting him out of the place he was in into a little bit more sober kind of environment. So I've been hanging out with him and supporting him and stuff. He had that gig that was about to happen, and I'm really jazzed that he's gotten back on the drums and he's gotten ambitious again and he's gonna go out and play. And then at some point he went public and said? Steven's just an excitable guy and he meant well when he said it, but he said that there was gonna be this reunion, that I was gonna be there and Duff [McKagan] and Izzy [Stradlin] and Axl [Rose] possibly, and that just fueled that already rapid-fire kind of GUNS N' ROSES rumors that goes on. Once I started getting phone calls and e-mails from all over the world about this gig, I said, 'You know what? I can't support it as such 'cause that's not what it is.' So I went down there but I didn't wanna get up and play because I didn't wanna fuel that any further. So I think Duff got up and played, and Izzy got up and played, and it was what it was, but I don't see any reunion happening for real."

Well I think the differences is sometimes you make Adler out to be a giant liar and stuff of the sort but as Slash said its in his nature to be over excited and etc.. Good move on Slash's part , but I still would've loved to see it.

A solo tour in 2007 still a dream?

It's time Izzy got back out on the road with his solo material For that to happen he needs a record label, and for that to happen he needs to go and find one.

Unless we bring the record label to him....

I don't think he needs a record company to tour, unless he's planning on filling arenas...

A small clubs tour would be really easy to book. I can help him do a tour in Europe. Not the US though, don't know many people there...

Even though I don't think Izzy needs anybody's help. All he has to do is show up...

if you do, make sure he swings by Brussels or Antwerp! (or anywhere else close )

Edit: I could also be his touring drummer in Europe if he ever is in need of one

Like I said you make him out to be a liar with no good intent , and the only difference is slash said he had good intentions , he is an excitable guy. I mean I should trust you though because you did know Adler on a personal level since high school and played in a band , toured the world, and help set an intervention up for Steven because you knew him very well , oh wait!!! That's Slash!
