does any one else think that locomotive would have been an amazing final track on illusion 2 instead of my world?

The end of the song with the piano, guitar, and axl sing loves so starnge has always been among my favorite Guns moments   beer

 my world is better off at the end of the cd. that way you can just cut the cd short rather than mess around jumping a track half way through......now do you see why its at the end and not in the middle   Wink

i think the guy says that he thinks that GNR should have skipped My world at the end and by saying that he means skip it altogether

well Dont Cry was the original ending to Use Your Illusion 2....Axl added my world and to my knowledge(i could be wrong) some band members were not even aware of the song till they saw the cd on shelves.....you bring up an excellent point that I never thought of...Locomotive would have been a kick ass ending to UYI 2

Don't try and compare the two.  My World is simply an Axl song, not saying its bad, its just not a Guns N' Roses song, since none of the band played on it.  Its a good/mediocre end to UYI2, and might've been a good opening track on that album.  But had it been scrapped and Locomotive was the closer, it would be better, since it would be similar to Coma.
