play.com and HMV.com are both in the UK. In Europe, it goes day/month/year as opposed to month/day/year here in the U.S.

So, a date of 5/3/07 in the UK means the same as 3/5/07 here in the US.

Well, Axl said he's releasing the album in March ... so HMV aren't the source.  Axl is.

HMV has put cases out with rumored release dates in the past. This is no different. Axl said himself that March 6 is tentative. Its not an official release date yet.

I dont know if this has been stated before, if so please delete.

If you go to HMV.co.uk site there is a link to pre order CD, when u click the link it comes up with a release date of 17-9-07 (mon 17 Sept)
Im Guessing this is incorrect and they have put that date up as a stand by until they get the real date. (I aint claiming this a as release date rumor)
just thought i would let u know its on their home page at the bottom. (it only comes up some times)

We got an official announcement 2 days ago saying there was no release date. Why, 2 days later would they give the release date to HMV knowing full well that the fans would hear about this.

Mixing isn't done, mastering isn't done......we could add album artwork to that, printing and packaging etc.

GN'R won't tell us another date til it's set in stone. They must've of learnt from that mistake by now. I bet they could have given us a "tentative" date again, but they chose not to.....a wise decision.
