I've never pre-ordered anything, so does anyone know the following:

Do they ship on the release date?

or

Do they ship BEFORE the release date so that it ARRIVES on the release date?

Because having it shipped ON the release date seems pointless to me...

I've pre-ordered.  I've waited over 10 years for the new album, so i reckon i can wait an extra day or 2 for it to be posted when its released.  And having it pre-ordered means i can forget about it, and then get a nice little suprise one evening when i get home from work, and i see it on the door mat  ok

Plus, i'll save a few quid buying it online! hihi

Just to say that on the shelf at hmv in edinburgh princes street they now have a space for chinese democracy. It says guns n roses, chinese democracy. 6/3/07. ( finally,hopefully??)order your copy now.

so even the stores are advertising it for march 6th, not just online.
