I once took some lightbulbs from a holiday inn, that's why I didn't call the police when my car got stolen

What Slash done was wrong but I don't think anyone can be surprised, everyone knows gnr were never exactly nice people. "Nice boys don't play rock n' roll."

This is the guy who was asking to get his stolen top hat back in 2005 and in 1999 he lost guitars due to a break in at his house.....
Then it turns out he's a thief too.
/jarmo
I dunno, to me there's a difference between a guitar being left in his dressing room and someone forcefully breaking into his house to steal stuff.
Either way it's still stealing.
No offense guys but I'm sure Axl has stolen stuff in his life too. Why act all high and mighty about it?
must you fucking slashites bring Axl into this?
Everytime -
every mother fucking goddamn time
- someone writes some truth on your little "hero" the first line of defense from you fucks is some bullshit about Axl. Shut the fuck up about Axl he has not a goddamn thing to do with this fucking topic, at all.

I was just wondering if Jarmo held everybody so harshly for stealing. Axl included.
And I am def not a Slashite. Lol. I love Axl, and if I had to choose between Axl and Slash I would definitely choose Axl. However when it comes to who I'm going to "defend" I'm an equalite. I would defend anybody against what I feel is an unwarrented attack. I don't understand why someone needs to chime in when someone does something bad.
Everyone
does something bad. I don't understand why Jarmo, or anyone else needed to add a sarcastic, degrading comment towards Slash. We've all done things in our life we aren't proud of.. or don't realize had negative effects.
We don't know Slash, we've never met the guy, and
I'm
certainly not going to pretend I do and have some vendetta against him. Everyone has done bad things in their life.
And for the record, I'm not attacking Jarmo, or anybody. Seriously, I'm asking questions and trying to make a point. You guys are bashing a guy you don't even know for something he did years ago, that hurt no one, and that he attempted to right. Sounds like you're mad at Slash about something else to me. And if you are, that's cool. But why make it seem like you really care about some event that doesn't effect you at all?

Jim Bob, can you not see the connection? This is a GnR board, therefore most people here if not all are Axl fans. ?When someone attacks the person they are a fan of, its only natural to bring up the person the other guy idolizes for comparison sake. If someone starts attacking someone you are a fan of, the first question that arises is "Oh yeah? well who are you a fan of that is so great?", well guess what? they already have that information, so they use it to put things into perspective that not everyone is perfect. ?It is you who appears ridiculous for being shocked and even so humorously riled up about it.

Jack, iPod.
On topic though, I can't believe someone as wealthy as Slash would steal a guitar. He has like 3 million guitars at home.
Kinda glad that he returned it though. Maybe his conscience kicked in.
Or he is using this as an opportunity to strum up some publicity for his new album.

I would be more understanding if you steal a Twinkie when you haven't eaten in days than if you steal a guitar when you're a grown up rock star with enough money to buy the guitars you need.
I can understand if you shoplift when you're like 13 years old and your friends pressure you to do it.
Stealing a guitar when you're 40 from Hard Rock Cafe, I don't understand. I'm sorry Slash fans, I just don't understand the point in that.

he needs press...
cuz liberturd didnt have any coverage
he will start bashing axl soon..
This sort of comment doesn't help matters.? It was the first time that the word "Axl" was mentioned, here, as far as I can see.? What happens is that certain posters start to say negative things about Slash, right or wrong - they're only someone's opinions - and that's what starts it.? You don't want Axl bashed - don't bash the other guy!? ?
Jim Bob - are you ok? Because you sound like you are about to have a meltdown.? ?
? Don't let this shit get to you, like that!? ?

No, you're right. It is true, really doesn't make too much sense. Shame on Slash.
I was just wondering why it had to be sarcastic and demeaning. Seemed unnecessary to me. But you are right.
