Well the situation is that my father goes to Belarus and helps the orphans there.

Anyway one of the people from Belarus came to Ireland a few days ago and is staying in my house, and I decided to ask the guy if he had heard of GNR. Well he said there is a lot of fans of GNR in Belarus and he loved the song Don't Cry. Well I pulled out UYI? 1 and played don't cry for him and got him the lyrics and he sang along to the song. Twas great to see someone so happy about GNR as I was when I first started listening to them. He said he liked GNR because their songs had messages to them and he like that.

So I asked him if he had heard of Sweet child o mine and he said no so i played him SCOM and he loved it. I gave him the whole breakdown of GNR(both past and present) and let him see all my GNR albums and open them and everything, and he asked a lot of questions which I tried to answer. And he saw the original cover of Appetite and was like a kid at christmas looking at it. He like the name of the band aswell. Said the name had a romantic feel to it(he may have meant something else).

And he asked for the words for sweet child o Mine and I gave them to him and he asked me the name of the song.

That would require a bootleg of a show that I could use and give to the guy. And I think it's a great story, and good to hear that GNR has at least one fan in Belarus and maybe more.
