Maybe since because on more than one occasion, Axl kinda sorta unintentionally forgot the part of the show that should be Ron's solo, so to "apologize" Axl called him back onstage and performed Don't Cry with him.

But for whatever reason he did it, it's awesome that he did.

That's an interesting theory.  I doubt it's true.  But I myself was wondering what Ron did for his solo when I heard they played "Don't Cry".  It must've been planned.  I would doubt Axl would let Richard and Robin both have their solos and leave Ron out.  What a fantastic way to end the show though.

Is it just me or does it seem like Axl always tells people to take a step back between SCOM and KOHD? ?It's like it's a part of the set. ?Anyhow, thanks for the updates. ?Much appreciated.

If you played a concert like the one back in Donnington where two kids died from being crushed, I bet you would be pretty careful for the rest of your career as well.

I know, I was just joking.  Obviously a good move on Axl's part to lookout for the safety of the crowd.  People can get crazy, out of control.

Having listened to the audio, it sounds fairly emotional.  I think there was some ulterior motive behind playing it, other than 'accidentally missing rons solo spot'.  Hope it gets repeated.
