They've done dead and bloated and an acoustic cover of interstate love song which scott proved he no longer  has the ability to sing that song anymore.

That was a very early morning performance...I don't think it proves he can't sing it anymore, as I heard him sing it acoustic less than a year before and it was great.  Just an off day I think.

well, I think we definitely have different opinions. That show @ 04.30.04 Kevin & Bean Show, KROQ Studios was in my opinion the BEST Velvet Revolver show ever. They sounded fantastic all over the 3 songs, they played just three great songs acoustically and Weiland was fantastic (Slash too, but Slash always playes fantastic).

When Weiland sings STP songs he rocks. That's where he's at his best. They should add ''Interstate Love Song'' to VR setlists, and quit playing that Vasoline shit. In fact, there are a lot of STP songs that I would like to hear by VR.

Weiland sang a GNR song and didn't destroy it: that is surprising.

Unglued would kick ass. And can someone send me a link to the acoustic cover of Dead and Bloated? That's one of my favorite STP songs.

Haven't they already played Unglued though? Sorry, my mistake, I confused it with Big Machine... hihi

Unglued is a great STP song too.?

I personally would love to hear any of the following: Creep, Dumb Love, Down (fo'sho), Church on Tuesday, Sex & Violence, Silvergun Superman, Army Ants, Wicked Garden, Unglued, Dead And Bloated, Meatplow, All in the Suit You Wear, Heaven and Hotrods, Where the River Goes, MC5, Trippin on a Hole in a Paper Heart, I got you, Big Bang Baby, Lounge Fly, Coma, Pretty Penny, Hollywood Bitch..

::sigh:: I miss STP.

Going off topic, I feel like ranking STP's albums.

1) No. 4 (STP's most agressive and hard rocking album)
2) Purple (from beginning to end it just kicks your ass)
3) Core (a little overrated by fans but a fantastic album)
4) Shangri-la de da (it ranges from average to good but never gets great; it never gets bad either)
5) Tiny Music (not much on here, my least favorite for sure...)

He does a decent job  on ISE and Brownstone, don't you think? He lowers his  voice to sound like Axl and if you close your eyes, it  is almost there. Not  that anyone can duplicate  Axl, but it  is not bad,  certainly not "destroying" the song.

Slash said they cant play alot of him because he cant jam on them since their too slow and moody or something

I'd love for them to songs from No4, like "Heaven and Hot Rods" and "Sour Girl," or something off Tiny Music like "Big Bang Baby."

I read that the band doesn't want to play GN'R and STP songs in the future.
