Unfortunately, not all sex crimes are taken to the level where the lowlifes are actually convicted. Sex crimes such as date rape or non- consential sex occur on a daily basis....in fact, it is a part of society........
Often, stemming from a male 'hate' of the feminine.......or a male need to control and overpower.......
It is a grossly underreported crime, which is unfortunate, but it's also one of those crimes where the lines are constantly blurred, especially with things like date rape or rape inside a relationship.
This, of course, was definitely a rape, and in the most brutal and disgusting manner I can imagine. That poor kid's gonna need some therapy.
