To be fair, even though SBQM doesn't have exactly the same riff as Slither, it does sound similar and it seems to me like a blatant attempt to capitalize on the success of Slither by releasing a similar sounding albeit drastically inferior song as the first single
The lead single was a dud as shown by the first week sales.? I think the best single strategy to maximize sales would've been to release Get Out The Door or Just 16 as the first single and then follow that up with The Last Fight then then follow that with whichever of those first two you didn't choose
Amen. It really seems so obvious that this is the way it should have been done. The problem is the suits are so fuckin far removed from what people want and the band isn't taking this responsibility on themselves.
I say wake up and release the Last Fight now (or in another week or so)... forget about letting SBQM run it's course
